<<OOC: Just some bad dream.... or not? ;o) >> ===== Corridors on the starbase orbiting Valaris 3 ===== Terek stood in the dimly lit corridor. The debris was everywhere, he walked forward. Some time, there was nothing else, but the damaged corridor with blinking red light, but after a moments the areas changed. Firstly he had a hard time to recognize where he were, but now, he realized that it was a federation station orbiting the Valaris III, his homeworld. He knew those corridors quite well, for his parents took him there often when he was a child and they worked on some science project. He was in the corridor that led to their former quaters. {Yes, I recognize this cross... and on this lounge, I was sitting, watching people rushing for their duties....} he thought as he remembered that during his time on station he hadn't much opportunities to have fun with some other children as there were almost none. He suddenly walked into the place, where most of the bulkheads was down thus creating large opened space... it looked like great labyrinth of demolished quaters, corridors and storages. He stopped in shock, not knowing what happened or why he's here, but almost immediately when he stopped, he saw that clicking noise.... He could'n identify it's source, but he was quite sure from where it was comming. A few meter ahead, one turn left and on the next cross to the right. After a short time while the clattering was getting stronger, he walked to the door to their quaters. The clicking noise was comming right from inside of it. But in the moment he wanted to open his doors, someone has grabbed his hand. It was his father. "Weranis, you have to get away... they are comming...." Terek stared at shocked look in his dad's face but before he could say anything, door to the nearby quaters opened and a big bug run from it, with his claws, it grabbed his dead, and with him, screaming in terror and pain it run away through the corridor. "Daaaaaaad.....!" screamed Bajoran and run after that bug, but as he turned the cross to follow it, he found himself standing in the very same place he just left. Standing in front of the entrance to their former quaters. He runned there, until he was absolutely exhausted and recognized that there is no way he can help his father, he fell on his knees, wheeping. He remained that way for a moment, but then he raised his face with angry look and approached the door from where the clicking noise was still comming out. And when he opened, he saw the horro he could hardly imagine. Right in the middle of their living roon, now looking like an quantum torpedo blew out there, sat great fat bug surrounded by something that looked like giant ostrich eggs, only that it was black and slimey. He was overtaken with anger and fear, so he grabbed first thing that come to his hands. Some broken pipe with sharp end and he run towards the monster that destroyed his home. But that bug turned on him and as he reached it, it just raised it's jaws and before he could even hit it, it just killed him. A moment prior his death, he heard something... like a voice in his head. {The past is ours....} and with it, he woken up with a quick breath, all in sweat on the groung inside the holodeck, seeing Doctor with tricorder above him. ===== End Log ===== Ensign Terek Weranis ASCiO USS Chimera
