=/\= Bridge =/\= Rebecca worked at the console doing as Reese asked. Reese had removed a panel and was working there while he directed Rebecca. Rebecca allowed her gaze to fall to the Counselor's prone form as the other women giggled. ~ Athena sat in the front seat and watched the movie. She snuggled into the warm shoulder next to her and a warm arm came around to hold her close. She shivered a bit against the cool air that blew in through the windows. She watched the cowboy ride across the screen and giggled when the fingers at her side brushed lightly across her ribs. She looked into a pair of bright blue eyes and smiled. She took a sip of the coke the two of them were sharing before feeding some more popcorn to herself and then her partner. As he gently tickled her again she threw some popcorn at him. He gave a small growl through his smiling eyes and trapped her in a hug before capturing her mouth in a kiss. ~ Rebecca shook her head and moved her hand over the keyboard as Reese instructed. Reese poked his head out and asked, "How are we doing?" Rebecca shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know. What have you been working on?" "I was hoping for life support and communications; maybe some help with the transporters. Its difficult from here though." Rebecca nodded and replied, "Well, I haven't heard from anyone one yet." Reese gave a small smile and pushed a couple of buttons, "Smart to anyone," he said aloud but no response was forthcoming. Both Reese and Rebecca jumped as Athena let out a scream. They went to her side to what was wrong or if help was needed. ~ The kiss ended abruptly and Athena screamed as she saw her date devoured by a large roach like bug. She covered her ears to muff the horrifying screams. As the bug finished with the first course it began to reach for her. She threw the popcorn box at it and slide backward across the seat until she hit her door. She threw the door open and fell out. She stumbled getting to her feet and began to run away with several others as the bug was noticed by more and more people. She turned to see if the bug was still pursuing her and watched as its claws seemed to rip the car apart like the jaws of life might do. ~ "Do you think she's having some kind of seizure," Rebecca asked as she and Reese struggled to hold the counselor still, so the woman wouldn't hurt herself. "I'm not a doctor," Reese managed to grit threw his clenched teeth, "but she sure is strong." ~ Athena ran a little further and realized that the bug like creature could cover the ground much faster. She looked around try to think what she could do to save herself and maybe the others or at lest but them sometime. Her eye caught on the popcorn cart. {I wonder if its still hungry.} She shudder with her last thought. She ran over to the cart and knocked it open in a direction that led away from where most everybody seemed to be running. She took another look around. {Now What?} Her eye caught the concrete restrooms and shook her head. {Too stinky to hide there.} Her gaze fell upon the small play ground area. She by passed the swings and the slide. She passed the small square sand box and finally crawled into the small tree house structure that was sitting on its side. She crawled into the corner furthest away from the bug and huddle into the smallest ball she could. ~ Noticing that the counselor had become still the two Corporals let her go and just watched for a few seconds. Reese began moving first and pulled another panel apart. "I'm going to see if I can't get a doctor up here now," he stated as his finger got bust pulling chips in and out and moving them around. Rebecca watched as the Counselor curled into a small ball and nodded her head at Reese's words. {Wonder what's going on in there she thought.} =/\= End Log =/\= Lt.
