=/\= Corridor outside counselor's office and Quarters =/\= Pete paced the hallway and whistled. It was the only thing keeping him awake. He was nearing the end of a twelve hour shift in front of the counselors rooms. {Babysitting, damn, I'm a glorified babysitter.} He continued his whistling and pacing as his mind wondered to what the counselor was doing. He didn't think she was asleep because every once in a while a door would slide open and he'd hear a thump a soft curse and then the door would slide shut. It did make him curious about what she was doing though. He stopped and paused to look up and down the hallway and soon saw Billy coming his way. He leaned against the wall and gave a sigh at last his shift was over and reinforcements were in sight. Billy gave pete a nod as he approached and gave a grim smile. "Nice job," Billy said. Pete exchanged a 'yeah, right' look with the other man as the counselor's door slid open. Both men took a more attentive stance as a throw pillow came sailing out. It wasn't long before the Lt. appeared wearing a royal blue filmy night gown with spaghetti straps. Athena calmly picked up the pillow smiled at both the marines and went back through the doorway. As the door slid shut both marines loked at each other. "Well, the fringe benefits aren't bad," said Pete with a smirk. "I can see what you mean," said Billy. He smiled and asked, "Have you heard about the fair counselor and The XO?" Pete shook his head and replied, "I've been following the counselor all day. What' the news?" Billy looked at the door and wondered if he should continue. He gave a small shrug and said, "I heard they spent the night together." He let the other matine come to his own conclusions. "Interesting," Pete said as he thought and then continued, "Wonder if the CMO has heard?" Billy raised his eyebrow and then said, "That might be an interesting confrontation." Pete remained thoughtful for a few moments before smirking and said, "Which confrontation?" The other Marine added a smirk of his on and said, "Does it matter?" Pete gave a small yawn as he shook his head and added, "The counselor visited the sickbay a while age. She actually spent quite a bit of time there, but the CMO wasn't present or at least visable the whole time the Lt. was there." Billy's expersion became thoughtful as pete continued, "Well, I'm going to go reort in and then try and have a shower and catch some Zs." Billy nodded and turned his attention and imgination to the counselor's door. =/\= End Log =/\= Written by Lt. Athena Wellington
