======= Deck Eleven ======== "Wow..." Hawk said standing inside the phaser control room and stareing out into open space through a small hole in the bulkhead. They had detected the hull breaches and made the trek up from main engineering on deck fifteen to deck eleven. Hawk was team leader and as such went to evaluating the immediate risks and or repair needs. The explosions from the immidiate information were not natural, but planted or set on the ships hull. From a fast scan of the placement of the explosions and looking at what damage they could have caused Hawk shivered. The first explosion was exactly in line to possibly breach a deuterium storiage tank, but it was one deck too high. The other was about three meters behind the phaser control equipment room. The second would not have likely caused the phasers to go down but the aiming systems could and likely would have been affected from the size and scope of the breach/expolsions vibrations and after affects. Both "shots" at the ship missed causing major damage by no less than three or four meters each. The team went to repairing what they could. The first thing that the teams did once they got there was assist newly promoted Warrant Offcier Ra'nar scan the area for wounded and or dead. They did locate two crewmen that were making there way down the corridor but there were none in the rooms exposed to the explosions and then space. Smaller debre and easily cleanable materials were the only things hiding the two unconscience crewmates. Ra'nar and by that point additional medical crew transported the two to sickbay. ==== half an hour later ==== A short while after Hawk had a grasp on what needed done he contacted Chief Rodgers with the situation and his recommendations. The forcefields were holding fine and there seemed to be no immidiate threat of anything else going wrong, he hoped. Rick approved his plan. He had already set part of his team to striping excess bulkhead material from the engineering support department on deck sixteen. The wall in question was nothing more than decorative in several team members opinions and could be replaced later, the immidiate needs here were more important. +TAPS+ Versey to Ensign Stephens, How is the material hunt Jason? +Taps+ We have 80% of what we need so far sir, should be ready for transport +taps+ in twenty minutes. I will update you when were ready, Stephens out. The rest of the team went busily to prepping the area and setting up for safety considerations. The last thing they needed was for several engineers to get blown out into space because of a dumb mistake. This could take a little time but if there are no more surprises and no one makes a mistake they should have the holes patched within the next hour, two at most. ============================================== LT jg Hawk Versey AEO USS Chimera-A
