<<Accidently sent this to someone instead the group list a minute ago. Sorry :P>> =/\= Sickbay, USS chimera – A =/\= It had been a few minutes since Ra’nar had informed the Commander of the Jem’hadar situation. Since then Ra’nar had been waiting for a wounded marine, just saying it over in his head made him laugh, {Were in the hell could he have got to.} thought Ra’nar. The away team had seen word that the Marine had been beamed up over ten minutes ago, but still there was no wounded Marine. After another ten minutes of waiting, Sally and Scott came into sickbay carry a stretcher between them. They explained that the transporters were not the most reliable at the moment, the sergeant had been transported to Deck eleven by mistake. When the man awoke he found himself lying on top of a quantum torpedo, a scary experience for anyone but even more frightening then the last thing you remember was being blown up. Considering the circumstances it was a wonder the Sergeant did not have a panic attack. Likely for the Marine his combat armour had taken the brunt of the explosion, something Ra’nar discovered as he tried to remove it resulting in the chest plate falling apart in his hands, “Nice craftsmanship,” muttered Ra’nar to himself. Despite the protection the Marine was seriously wounded. The upper part of his leg was a mess, shrapnel from the blast had buried itself in the Adductor Longus and the Rectus femoris in his left leg, but it could have been a lot worse. Another ten centimetres up and to the right would have resulted in the shrapnel making mince meat out of his groin. The first thing to do was the marine a strong sedative, Ra’nar did not want the man to start waking up while he was remove the shrapnel, 10CC’s of melorazine was enough to keep the man unconscious for three hours. Ra’nar then gave the Marine 10CC’s of Corophizine, an all purpose antibiotic to stop infection. It was then time to get to work, Ra’nar ‘scrubbed up’ and started to remove the Shrapnel, cutting it out with the laser scalpel. =/\= Meanwhile……… Transporter Room One. =/\= Chief Varaan stood over the transport consol working his ‘Magic’. He had been ordered to transport the two Jem’hadar’s in the shuttle to the brig but it was not the easiest transport he had ever preformed, for one thing the transporters still had a few bugs in them and secondly there was a lot of interference coming from the shuttle. When Varaan started the transport there was so much interference that he thought he was going to lose the lock-on, perhaps he would have transported a bulkhead from the shuttle into the brig by mistake had he not boasted the power and refocused the beam. Varaan tapped away at the focus reply control, the transport had so far taken 2.291 seconds, too long for his liking and there was defiantly a lot of interference. In a last toss of the dice Varaan doubled the Rematerializing output in a hope to finally get the two into the brig, as he did the beam improved and it appeared to work but there was no way to be sure. A trade off for doubling the power resulted in his consol blowing, it lighted up in an amazing display off colour. “Lieutenant’s Rogers and Versey will not be impressed.” Commented Varaan as he looked at the damage. The Engineering department had just sent a team down to the transporter room to correct the bug’s, now Varaan had just added to their list of thing to fix. For the moment at least the state of the transport equipment was not in the forefront of Varaan’s mind. +COM+ Transporter room one to Brig, did you receive the Jem’hadar? +COM+ Asked Varaan. +COM+ Corporal O’Malley here, that’s a negative chief. We got no one. +COM+ replied the voice. Varaan raised an eyebrow. This was most interesting, they had arrived on the ship that much he was sure of, but they had not arrived in the brig. Logic dictated that the Jem’hadar had been beamed to a different deck of the vessel, A very disturping prospect indeed. There was not even any evidence to assume they had both been beamed to the same place. +COM+ This is Chief Varaan to the Bridge, we have a minor problem. +COM+ =/\= Sickbay. =/\= Ra’nar stood frozen, sure that he had just got the Medical stuff killed. He had done it out of instinct, he had not planned to, he had simply turned, saw a Jem’hadar and reacted. Across the room from Ra’nar and Sally stood a Signal Jem’hadar in full battle armour holding a federation phaser rifle, with a Laser scalpel stuck in his forehead. Scott was in he storage room at the time, he had turned to see the Jem’hadar appear followed by a Scalpel fly across the room and land in the Jem’hadar’s head, it was a great throw but it had only pieced the skin of the warrior and would have done nothing more than make him angry. Scott tapped his combadge. +COM+ This is Doctor Fisher to the Bridge. We’ve got a Jem’hadar down here. +COM+ =/\= End Log =/\= Warrant Officer Ra’nar Chief Medical Officer USS Chimera And Chief Varaan, Lt.
