*** Inside the Complex Buildings * Sidos*** Once Weaver moved away, Okrin placed his rifle, resting it on a console, easy to access, freeing his hands to operate the tricorder and medical equipment. He looked at the Jem'hadar's dead body laying on the cold metal examination table, typical morgue work. He initiated a scan of the body with his tricorder and left it on a corner of the table to record anything and everything. He opened the body bag completely, exposing the dead flesh. The smell must have been terrible, even if conserved in a freezer. The specimen seemed to be in perfect health. No injury was apparent. Okrin examined the body, raising each arm and leg, looking for something like a puncture mark, since no apparent burn of a phaser weapon was immediatly apparent. It took him a certain time, he could not say for sure, but he found no boken bones, or signs of internal bleeding, and no puncture wounds. This specimen, given it's physical state, should have been alive and kicking. He moved to the analysis controls and noticed a system he was not used to, but hear off. He pressed the button and a scanner sweeped green rays over the body and a hologr^phic projection of the Jem'hadar, appeared hovering above the examination table. "Nice." He muttered to himself. This would help him. He pressed a few commands and the external epidermis was removed from the hologram. As he had initially asseced, there was no apparent injury, the muscle mass looking intact. He removed the muscle mass from the hologram, which left all the internal organs and skeleton. He ckecked the organs, knowing his tricorder was recording everything. e noticed something with the heart, like a blackened artery. "Heart attack." He concluded, outloud. But the hic was that Jemmies did not have heart attacks, nor did they suffer from any known sickness, being genetically superior to anything naturally bred. This 'heart failure' must have been caused by an outside source. He moved to another console, which displayed the biochemical composition of the patient scanned. This one showed normal level of just about everything found in a healthy living being, except three. Chloromydride: Which caused a heart attack, level being exceeded by ten time the normal ammounts. Inaprovaline: which would normally stimulate the heart of a weak patient, would also cause a heart faliure if over-dosed, which was this case and Dylamadon: which is used in euthanasia. He found normal ammount of the man-made drug, in the brain of the dead Jem'Hadar. Those scientist really wanted it dead and sure of it, Okrin could not blame them for making sure, but killing that Jem'Hadar that way, as a medical practician he disapproved. He shook his head and returned to the organs display of the hovering hologram. He was curious since there was organs that should not be there. Something that looked like a entire digestive system was 'grown' in this Jem'hadar. They consumed Ketracel-white, which was not required to be digested with that kind of metabolic system. This one had a connection to the mouth and a stomac pouch, intestines to digest the whole thing, and well, an expulsion 'array' to clear the left-overs. Okrin could not believe what he saw, he shook his head in disbelief. They really where meant to 'infiltrate' other societies, not live with them. That's the only thing he could think off. A invasion unit made to look like us, eat, sleep, and take us by surprise. Thank the prophets something wrong happened. An overloud alarm klaxon started and moments later he saw Terek emerge from the office he had taken refuge in, and run past him, to the direction of rangi's location. "Shit." He said to the dead Jemmie. He picked up his tricorder and verified that his findings where downloaded to the unit's memory core. When he had done that, he grabbed his rifle, checked it's status, and went to find the others. He saw what he had not expected, every cell in his body crying to detroy the Jem'Hadar standing with the Starfleet group. How could this be? His rational mind eased the protesters, seeing that no agressive behaviour besides Weaver was apparent. He moved to Rangi, when the jem'Hadar went and found himself a containment suit. He looked at her, silently passing along the inumerable questions though a gaze, to which she replied. "He might be our only hope of escape from here." She said. "We have to take him." ...
