Jem'hadar felt little excitement besides the rush of a battle, but the Marduk were altered not only by visage ... but some of their perceptios and feelings as well. There was extiment in the air ... and we shall learn why. "The Dominion ship will arrive here within 2 hours" said the Bajoran Marduk after reading the message on one of the computer pannel in the room. "They've expressed concern about the Chimera on our orbit". The Betaziod Marduk shook his head: "Chimera is no danger for us or the ship. By this time I expect the virus in our former human wards to awake from the dormant status. You know that it is the result of advanced genetical engineering and it will keep the ship busy for hours if not days. The Guzman fellow can't do anything with half of his crew going berserk". The third Marduk in the room laughed: "Serves them right. For long did i wish revenge on our wards and now my wish shall become true. With some luck the virus will spread among the Chimera crew before they will notice it and they will kill themself all alone." The Bajoran shook his head: "We can't rely on luck. Our fate is the game." The Betazoid noded: "Exactly. As long as the domion ship will stay cloacked, the Chimera will never notice it coming ... or leaving" Turning to the third Marduk he asked: "IS everyone prepared for the exodus?" The third Marduk noded: "Yes, all of our brethreen are ready. Only those who serve as warriors will stay here and cover the exodus if the need will arise." "Do we really leave them here?" asked the Bajoran. "They are our brethreens ..." The Betazoid Marduk shrugged: "They are not exactly like we are; they are still Jem'hadar and they wont retreat and give up this base." "The humans will sooner or later kill them all" said the third Marduk. "Yes, they will" said the Betazoid, "but you know ... victory is life!" "What about the captured human wards?" the Bajoran asked. "The Jem'hadar will kill them after we have left the facility.
