====== Bridge, Cloaked Dominion ship ====== "Five minutes till we enter the orbit of Sidos" reported a Jem'hadar warrior who was manning the Jem'hadar equivalent of an Helm console. The Gamma quadrant Jem'hadar First looked at another (quite alike looking) warrior and asked: "The Federation ship?" The Jem'hadar Tactical officer barked in a true Jem'hadar fashion: "The Federation ship is in synchron orbit, holding its position directly over the Facility. Their shields are on line but weapons are off line. We could surprite them and inflict a deadly blow. Victory is life!" The First just shook his head: "NO" he said in an authoritative voice, "We are not interested in the Federation ship today, but to save our brethreen from the ground facility" The Jem'hadar tactical officer looked down on his monitor and remained silent. The authority of the First was unquestioned. His word was the rule ... and even more ... for his crew it was law. "Inform the facility about our arrival, they should prepare themselves for extraction. We dont want to delay on the planet." ====== Einhoften Command center, Subterran level, Sidos ======= "Damn" cursed the Bajoran Marduk and looked away from his console. "It was a trick" he stated in a cold voice but the anger was present in the tone of his words. The first human unit was just a decoy. They made us believe that it's a serious attack, but now I've learned that another human group just seized control of the custody area. The Betazoid Marduk looked up and asked beeing surprised: "The prisoners?" Now it was the third Marduk who noded; "We should foresaw this move. We know how the humans think and what they value. Lives of their kindred are the top priority, only then the facility and us. It was both a mistake and underestimation of their abilities." The Bajoran Marduk noded: "Yes, we thought that faced with the defeat of their first unit, they won't dare to attack within 24 hours again. Looks like we were wrong." He noded to himself: "With having the prisoners secured, they will use far more fire power to get on us. I dont think that our Warriors can protect us for much longer. It was again the Betazoid Marduk who shook his head and said; "We were wrong, but the chance for escaping from the planet is still high. The Dominion ship will land in less then three minutes. We should move our asses and get to the landing site. Those dammed humans might win the battle ... but not the war. ====== Bridge, USS Chimera ====== Shane was glad to hear about the improvement in the virus crisis in the sickbay. Looks like LT. Oriana and LtJg. Terek indentified the patogen causing the violent bahaviour and found a way how to treat those affected. Shane's thoughts were interrupted by LT. Foster: "Commander, the probes network detected something passig through" he informed. Shane looked at him but remained silent to give his OPS officer time to supply more details about the accident: "It was a faint signal that appeared within the detection network for 0,1 second." Andy tapped his console like wanting to win a lolypop in the "Fastest tapping man" race. The data are too insuficient for clear results sir" he said at last, "it might be nothing more then an echo of our own ship or a small natural tachyon burst". Shane watched Andy's face and knowing him for quite a long time by now he saw the doubt written in his face: "But?" he asked. Andy looked a bit uncertain before saying: "It might have beeing it a cloaked ship heading to the Einhoften facility as well." Shane straightened himself in the CO's seat. {A ship?} he asked himself. "Can we trace it?" he asked. Andy shook his head: "Unfortunately not sir" ====== Empty place near the Einhoften central quare, Sidos, cca. 3 minutes later ====== The Jem'hadar First pierced his HELM officer with a cold stare. That fool of a Jem'hadar almost alarmed the Federation ship about their arrival. He ordered him to avoid the detection network that was created and maintained by three human probes around the fleet ship, but the idiot almost didnt made it. The First was not sure if the Federation ship detected his own ship ... but the fleet ship didnt move or made any other sign of detecting the Dominion ship. "We've just landed" reported the HELM officier. The Jem'hadar first looked through his periscope like device and looked for the passengers he was ordered to extract from the planet. There ... just some 10 meters away from the ship a small group of twenty humans of various races was standing, obviously waiting for his ship to arrive. Feeling the excitement from the situation he barked: "Open the exits and have our brethreen embark. Watch out for any troubles!" ======= 5 Minutes later ======= The cloaked Dominion ship slowly took up from the surface and after a moment of turning in the air it was directed ritght enough to get into open space. Constantly gaining speed, it left the atmospere of the planet in short time. Once in open space, it avoided the Chimera with ease and set a course that was known only to the Jem'hadar First and the leading Marduk. Their destination and plan was secret but it was surely nothing in favour of the Starfleet or the Federation. The Chimera was left behind and there was nothing that would stand between the Marduk and their evil plan. It the Federation doomed ... or is there an another line of defense then the USS Chimera and Special Forces? ===== End of log ====== Oposite force (NPCs by Mumacik)
