==/\== Deck Six ==/\== Hawk made his way around the ship in an almost lost puppy style. He had never been off duty for so long while onboard before. All his friends were on duty and as engineers go that means 18 hour shifts. Bev was wrapped up in some replanting of this special fungus to help keep the plants in the arboretum growing healthy and the like. He had a few drinks but was not in much of the mood to drink anything more than one, (it was technically morning and all, so everyone was giving him weird looks about his selection). So there he was when too his joy someone contacted him. +Taps+ Rodgers to Versey +taps+ Hawk here, what's up Rick +taps+ Sorry to interrupt your time off but if your able could you +taps+ join me in engineering. We dropped out a warp for some reason and we could use the extra help. +taps+ I will get a uniform on and I will be right there, Versey out. Hawk almost started to skip as he made for his quarters. This recreation thing was fine but while on ship it sucked. Engineers are engineers because of there need to fix and or "play" with technology. When they are bored that's what most enjoy to do, and well Hawk was damn bored right now. ==/\ ten minutes later /\== Hawk entered engineering and Rick wasted no time. Seems there was two problems really, (never is just one, there is always one to be fixed before you can solve the main problem) First was the warp field problem. They couldn't maintain or even establish a warp field. Second was that the sensors seemed to not be working, so they couldn't even scan for any causes. Rick ordered Hawk to deck 4, to begin physical checks of the sensor pallets there. Jason's team was already on there way to deck 17, sensor control. They needed to work fast, being without warp power and not knowing why was bad news. ==/\ Deck 4 /\== The order had went out that all off duty personnel could take RnR on some station. Hawk really didn't feel the need atm, he had a job to do. After a short few moments the team found nothing wrong physically with the units, (Nothing disconnected or visibly broken). The other teams found the same results at the other four pallet locations throughout the ship. It seemed it was time to coordinate diagnostics now and find out what's going on with the sensors, then warp drive..... ================================== LT jg Hawk Versey Assistant Engineering Officer USS Chimera NCC 96899-A
