Jason watched as Lucy departed the bar, He turned away and moved to a table and sat down he wanted a beer and as if out of know where a beer was placed on the table in front of him He looked at the waiter "I didn't order that" He said The waiter smiled "Is it not what you want" he asked "Should i get you something else" Jason looked puzzled for a moment and then shook his head "No a beer will do fine thank you" The waiter nodded and walked away leaving Jason with his beer. He looked around at the people scattered round the bar and in the lounge area. He spotted the CO and XO looking rather happy in a booth and he smiled slightly. Jason missed having a normal life everything was so strange to him even though he had been living in this time for a few years now inside he secretly wanted to go home. Back to his long dead wife and children. He knew that would never see them again and that in itself caused him great pain on the inside. He pulled from his pocket an old earth leather wallet. It was the only thing he had from his real life the only reminder of better days gone by. He opened the wallet and removed the worn photo and smiled as he looked at the picture of his Wife and kids. "I miss you" He muttered not realising he had spoken aloud. He leaned back in the chair and glanced over towards the doors and spotted a face he hadn't thought he would ever see again. He stood quickly knocking over the chair and 2 people stood near him the noise was loud enough that even the CO and XO looked up in his direction not that it mattered to him the woman with the face he never thought he would see again was walking towards him. "NO NO" He shouted as she neared "NO YOUR DEAD" He shouted again his hands on his head by now half turning away knocking several more people over. "I'm not dead i'm right here" The woman said It was the same voice the same face but it couldn't be her it just couldn't be his wife. "Its not" He said his voice nearly a whisper now "NO its not possable you died, your dead" Jason was shaking now 2 years of threapy all gone the old pain of losing everything was back was this someones idea of a cruel joke, was it a temporal distortion, was it a dream, Jason didn't know he just wanted it to go away and never come back. He felt a hand on his shoulder "Leiutenant" A voice said from behind him He snapped back to the present and looked at where only moments ago his dead wife had been stood to find her gone and he collapsed to the floor a complete emotional wreck.
