====== Some bar, Living dream hotel ====== Wearing civilian clothes, a blue shirt with black pants, Dexter was enjoying a drink in one of the many bars in the hotel. He was sitting alone at a small table not too far away from the bar's entrance. The drink was called "Blue extatic" and he was glad that he better hasnt asked what it was made of. It was a bit suprising that from the many bars on board the hotel a great deal of the Chimera crew used to occasionally hang up in this one. Dexter saw Lieutenat Stephens from Engineering, a few crewman from Science and even the XO and CO here. Not really wanting to chat with any of them, he choosed this rather isolated table with a good view at the entrance door. Beeing honest with himself ... Dexter was watching the entrance in a silly hope to see a certain woman. She was a from the Chimera and served there in the ODA unit as medical specialist. He knew only her surname ... Michaels, but beeing a bridge officer he looked up the crew roster and found the woman he was searching for. Now he knew that he was waiting for Kaitlin and that she was 24. Trully ... it was a bit silly to wait to meet a woman he's seen only a few times before and only for a brief time like passing past her on the corridor or once in the mess hall ... she was like 15 meters away from him ... on the other end of the room. Neverthless ... Dexter as trying his luck and afterall ... he was on R&R and had plenty of time. Noone seemed to hurry to end the R&R time for the crew and he enjoyed the lot of free time and the many possibilities at the hotel. His watch for Kaitlin was interrupted as he's heard someone shouting: "NO NO ... NO YOUR DEAD" Dexter looked in the direction of the shouting to see the "disturber of peace" and saw Stephens with his hands on his head by now half turning away knocking several more people over. {What id he doing?} Dexter wondered while looking at the Engineer who made the impression that he's gone mad or saw a ghost. There was always a certain level of noise in the room so he was not able to hear what Stephens was saying more, but the expression on his face revealed that he was in a shock. An elderly looking man wearing a Strfleet uniform came to Stephens and laid a hand on his shoulder: "Lieutenant" he said in the try to calm the Engineer down and find out what happened. Dexter would bet that a fight was about to start when suddenly Stephens collapsed down to the floor. For a second the bar stared at the fallen body ... then several of the guests jupmed on theif feets and hurried to Stephens. "Call a doctor!" someone shouted. "I am a doctor, let me through!" Dexter heard the familiar voice of the ship's XO and saw Rangi quickly making her way towards the collapsed Engineer, with Guzman close following. Dexter could not not clearly see what was happening around Stephens cause the crowd that was assembling around Stephens but the all-too-known transporter effect revealed that Stephens was beamed away ... most probably to the hotel's infirmary.
