=/\= Shuttlecraft Watson =/\= Redding yawned in his chair on the shuttlecraft. The pilot seemed motionless, as the shuttle moved gracefully though space toward the Starbase. He looked around pensively at his surroundings and stood with boredom. He removed a panel and began tinkering: "Lieutenant, please don't touch anything." "Don't sorry crewman. I'm an Engineer." "That's nice, sir. But lots of engineers have done stupid things to my shuttle and I don't want that to happen again." Redding frowned. The pilot's lack of faith was disappointing, but perhaps understandable. He sat back into his chair. "Our ETA is 10 minutes." In the background, a console burst and the ship dropped from warp. "Son of a bitch. They told me they fixed that plasma relay. I'd better call for a tow ship." "You'll do no such thing. If the CEO of a new Federation warship needs a tow because of a simple plasma replay, I'll never hear the end of it." He rushed back to the back of the ship, Engineering kit at the ready. He opened the bulkhead and looked at the situation. A relay had overloaded and burst, causing a power failure. Redding reached into his kit and grabbed a substitute relay. After powering down the system, he grabbed the relay and tossed it back. He took the replacement and inserted it into the power grid. Once the grid had been reactivated, he replaced the bulkhead. "Good as new." Redding stood up and the pilot smiled. The ship drifted back to warp and soon arrived. +COM+ Shuttlecraft Watson to Starbase, request permission to dock. +COM+ Docking Permission granted. =/\= Later =/\= Redding entered the Chimera's bridge, and looked around nerviously. He needed to meet with Bretam Keylor, his old Aurora boss, and was curious to see the man in this new locale. He chimed the door and entered, after being summounded.
