-= USS Chimera =- As he stepped on the ship, Okrin immediatly noticed the engineering crew working around the ship. Not knowing the exact schematics of the ship, he requested to the computer, the directions to the security department. A map popped on a wall panel which showed where his requested destination was. Okrin moved closer to it and pressed a button to have a visual aid along the corridors to bring him there, want wanting to waste time memorizing the schematic, yet. Slipping down a JT to deck 9, Okrin emerged on yet another corridor, with much less activity. He made his way to the security office. Seeing the ship this way, he wanted to know the status of the security systems more than ever. At least when he entered the office, the doors wokred properly and the computer already confirmed him as the CSEC. The office seemed to be ready for use. a replicator, desk, chairs filled the room. Bare minimum, but it would do for now. Major Nejor sat down in his new chair, shifting positions a few times to get confortable. He spinned the computer console to face his direction and presed on the big button to activate it. He ran through the security systems. At least the internal sensor grid was fully functional. on the other hand, which annoyed him, the weapons locker where empty, no personal equipment was available either, scheduled to be loaded tomorrow. Okrin rubbed his noze ridges as he frowned, closing his eyes. He had expected to have the ship in tip top condition ready to depart. True to form, even Special forces where not different from the fleet, new ships always had problems. He then called up his departments crew roster. Some where already report on the ship, now since they where not starting before tomorrow they had free time, but at least Okrin knew they where either on the ship or on Bragg. On the other hand, some where due tomorrow and the day after. His department was quite small, but for a hundred fifty crew, it was substancial. He had thirty six men, including six officers to lead the three ODAs that composed the security staff. But for a ship that was suppose to be more disciplined than the average starfleet ship, he was not expeting trouble from anyone. He checked the roster as it would be when everyone would have reported in and separated the teams. Oddly enough, out of the officers, Okrin chose Richards as his team XO, for the only reason that he knew him and could gauge the man, somewhat. For the rest of the team, he sent them a notice, via the computer, to meet at 0800 tomorrow morning, since they where only missing one Kurt Mathews and Cynthia Alighieri, who were respectively, weapons and medical specialists, but again Kurt was due tomorrow and his ship was scheduled before eight. For Cynthia, well, she was already on Bragg, but was probably packing things up, she was due tomorrow. He also sent the roster for the ODA-B and ODA-C to the respective CO and XO of each team, they would do as they please with the information, for Okrin, since his team was coming from different units around the quadrant, they would get to know each other and train to get their skills up to standards. After doing his daily paperwork, which was not much, he proceeded to his quarters. A shortly while later after a uneventfull ride in a working turbolift, he gained access to his quarters. As he had expected, his luggage had made it. He had senior officer's quarters, which where still to the bare minimum but he had plenty of room for improvement. He took a long look, visiting the few rooms he had and left them as he found them, He would unpack another day. He returned to the gantry and back to the Starbase. He wanted some lunch without all the refit crews around. He headed for a replimat and sat in a corner, where he could see the passing crowd and the clientele of the restauration area. He ordered a meal, some Bajoran food and drink and stayed silent, not attracting anyone, thinking to himself. That Nevarre would have a much harder time to find him, here on Bragg and later on the Chimera, once we leave the base, our flight plan unknown but the higher ups of SSF.
