=/\= Begin =/\= Athena sat at her desk waiting for Lt. Storok. She had scheduled this appointment with the Lt. and then engineering was getting her as a permennant visitor until she had completed their interviews. Storok looked at the Chrono on a 'systems display' panel as she walked along the corridor and realised she was 34 seconds late for her appointment with Athena. She quickened up her pace slightly and tapped on the Entry button next to the door and waited for a response "Enter," Athena called as she rose from her desk. Lt. Storok walked in and Athena was struck by the image of a blank page. It was something she normally felt when anyone with Vulcan blood first walked into a room where she was. Athena wondered what she'd learn next. Storok walked into the Room and stood in front of Athenas desk. "Lieutenant." She said simply. "You requested to see me.." "Yes, please, have a seat?" Athena motioned to all the empty chairs in the room, allowing Storok to pick her own seat. Actually just picking a seat in Athena's office let her know something about you. Storok looked about and the Multiple Comfy chairs and moved in front of Athenas desk and sat down on a normal basic chair. Athena asked, "Would you like something to drink," before sitting down. When her back was turn to the Lt. she smirked as she noted that Storok had picked a seat that said this was going to be all business and nothing else. Storok shook her head. "No thankyou." Athena took her glass of ice water from the replicator and returned to her seat. "This is just that meeting that you have every time you end up some place new." She smiled at Storok and continued, "Are you happy with your new assignment so far?" Storok looked at Athena and nodded. "I have had no problems with my new assignment. Though the Tactical systems themselves arent at 100% operational efficency" She folded her arms. "Are you settling onto the Chimera ?" "Yes, I'm settling in fine," she said calmly. "What do you think of the crew so far? Have you gotten to meet many crew members yet?" Storok nodded slightly again. " I have met my department briefly, and will be briefing them on what I expect in the next couple of days. I have also met most of the Senior officers, but not had any direct conversations with them except for yourself, Lt Col Bretam, Lt Guzman and LT Summers." Athena nodded and then asked, "Is there any thing you'd like to talk about?" Storok tilted her head slightly and did a quick think. "None that I can think of.." She said raising an eyebrow. Athena nodded again and looked to the ink blots on the wall. "Tell me what do you think about those," she asked as if it were only a queston of decorating. Storok frowned and turned to look at the ink blots on the wall. "They are ink blots of an early 20th century fountain Pen.. possibly. I have no direct opinion on them Miss Wellington" Storok said turning back to her. "Where as you're assessment is correct, I'd really like you to see if you can give me an opinion about at least one of them." She gave Storok a smile that was meant to give her some comfort as Athena was asking her to do something outside of normal Vulcan practises. Storok raised both her eyebrows and turned back to the ink on the wall. " To me Miss Wellington they are nothing more than two ink splodges splatted on a wall, that should be cleaned off." She turned back to see what Athena would say. "I see," was all Athena said. "Thank you. If you ever want to talk about anything don't hesitate to contact me." She smiled at the Lt. and decided to let things go at that. Storok nodded. "Thankyou Miss Wellington" She said emphisising the 'you'. She stood up. "Do you require anything else before I leave?" "Nope, thats everything. Thank you for coming and being so prompt." Athena took a sip of her water as she watched Storok raise from her seat. Storok nodded to her and walked out of Athenas Office heading towards the tactical office. Athena smiled to herself as that interview had gone much as she expected it would. =/\= End Log =/\=
