***** Briefing Room * USS Chimera ***** Rangi was the third to arrive for the meeting and as she walked towards the table she saw Shane in deep conversation with Lt.Storok.He looked up and watched her take her place, smiling at her though still listening to the CTAC's words. The captain stood gazing out of the window seemingly lost in some sort of reverie. When everyone was present, he made no move to join them. They looked at each other uncertainly and eventually the XO stood up and moved across the room tapping him lightly on his shoulder. "Sir, we are ready." he said quietly. Bretam nodded and turned to his assembled officers, taking his place at the head of the table. After a few words of praise and encouragement,he asked for reports from each department and taking his seat at last, he turned to Rangi and said.. "Lieutenant Summers, would you be so kind as to start?" Surprised to be the first one asked to report, and getting to her feet a little flushed, she took up her padd from the table. A moment of expectant silence filled the room as she stared at the blank screen in her hand. Hastily switching it on and glancing at Keylor with a small polite smile, she saw him nod and began her report. "Sir....we...umm.. we've restocked...Sickbay three times now, after the problems caused by the environmental control malfunctioning....twice...Everything in that aspect is now running perfectly." She glanced quickly at Keylor. "The EMH problem is now also solved. Yesterday we had our first casualties following the incident in the Armoury.Three injured men were given site to site transport and I'm pleased to say that Sickbay was able to respond with both personel and equipment working as I would wish." Rangi returned the padd to the table top. "There are two on going problems. The first is an intermittent fault with workstation two....and as of last evening, the overhead sensor cluster is not augmenting the primary biobed as it should. Both these problems are being worked on Sir, even as we speak...and apart from that, Sickbay is at full strength."
