The shuttle was ready and loaded and was waiting in the middle of the shuttlebay ready to depart. He took the ladder to the lower level and glanced hesitantly at the forcefield. It was all the protected Nick from being sucked out into space and he didn't trust it. He was after all the person responsible for making sure it worked. He sprinted up the main ramp and headed quickly for the cockpit area where he could hear the sounds of someone working. It was little more than the officer preparing the shuttle but he was still an annoyance when he refused to move to make way for Nick to get to work.
