Mike frowned, stupid shuttle's door was broken and had just closed on his foot. He had opened it, climbed in and shut it. Once it was shut, he scanned it over and it was clear for takeoff, but he would report it and have a starbase technician fix it. He cleared for take off and set out. As soon as he was in open space, he took a sensor report and saw a shuttle coming to the station. He Ship-to-ship-ed and saw his latest ensign's face on the screen. He gulped, how unorganised he had been. "Em.. Hello Ensign. Don't suppose you want to join me on the Chimera for the wargames, sorry I didn't say anything before hand." The ensign looked suprised at this offer, and took up on it instantly. "Talk to you more on the Chimera" he had said with a smile, ending the communication. Mike smiled, he liked the new engineer a lot, he seemed really nice. Mike tapped the console until he had the Chimera on the screen, he ordered an intercept course and tried to hail the Chimera, but the shuttle he was on was poor and he would have to get close and COMM with the bridge, a neccecity which would have him shot down if they didnt recognise him. When he got close enough, he tapped his commbadge and was talking with an unrecognised Marine. Once they had confirmed he was the ACEO, after plenty of sarcasm from Mike, they let him dock in the Chimera's primary bay. It took him about five minutes to get to Main Engineering with Gaalan. He sat down at the main console, "So," he said, "lets see what changes they've made to her" he said, wondering what wargames would actually mean, "I wanna know in what capacity we will be fighting, and I want the warp core protected against accident" he said Smiling he added, "Lets get to it!" He headed for the warp core console and pressed a good number of buttons, the blue glow lessened and a force field surrounded both levels. Excusing himself, Mike headed for the bridge for an update.
