Pain ran through Mike's neck each time he looked up, he was paranoid that he was being watched. Enough. He was the Cheif Engineer of this ship. He began to tap into the security system and entered the CEO override. He accessed the active sensor sweeps he had been running, something that was normally against protocol but as warp drive was offline, they had the power and he knew how useful it would have been for the ODA to analyse. He checked on everyone's locations, nobody was watching him and nobody was accessing the sensors, not that they could. Mike had a thought, a strange one, but it could work. He scanned through transporter logs to find the time when he was transported to the Cargo Bay. He cross referenced this with his logs. Voila! He played it back on his screen, Capt. Walsh walked around the corner and sneared as Mike stopped walking, "Blackburn" he had sneared, just as he shot Mike in the side, a certain way to cause a twisted fall. Mike was shocked, he thought that this marine was just incompetant, but he clearly had something against Mike. Mike decided to play through the whole day, fastforwarding to speech and listening to the Marine's conversations for the day. "WTF" thought Mike as a particular patch played, the Captain had jokingly said to take a shot at him. Mike saved this file to an isolinear chip, along with the record of the shot. Then he deleted it from the Chimera's computer and removed every trace that he had had these logs. Then, skillfully, he logged out as though he had never been there. "Ensign, you have command." he said as he left, real phaser holstered. Mike heard Marines around the corner and turned and ran, he needed to get to his quarters quickly. He had a call to make.
