=Bridge, USS Chimera= Acheson impatiently monitored the situation, from tactical. What was ODA doing? When were they going to counter the attacking crew? The officer at Ops called over. "Internal sensors show laser fire on Deck 4. The ODA is responding. Computer reports that casualties are being generated. Acheson nodded. "Let's keep watch." Moments later, a call came over the com system. "Walsh to Acheson." he called into the Comm. Badge after looking at his tricorder. "Theres a hostile headed your way." Acheson tapped his badge. +TAPS+ Understood. He looked down at his pants and noticed a holstered phaser and tricorder. He drew the phaser and took a concealed position, behind the tactical bulkhead adjacent to the turbolift. <<Think the Voyager bridge>> The intruder rushed in, wearing a Starfleet uniform that clashed with the SSF. He seemed confused, but he quickly became cognizant of his situation and opened fire on the Ops officer, who himself jumped for cover. Acheson aimed and fired his laser-set phaser and struck the intruder, who disappeared in a flash of transporter energy. [ All intruders have been contained] The computer called out. +COM+ "Acheson to Walsh: I got him. Guess its our turn to give them a little payback." He walked back to Tactical and scanned the Simpson. Her shields were down and the lateral sensor array on the Chimera had just been repaired. "Ops, we need to do this fast. I want to disable their main shield array. Where should I fire?" The Ops officer looked down. "Well, let's use a little Starfleet intelligence here. Their main shield array will be near the tertiary EPS junction near the starboard phaser coupling. It's a design standard. If we fire here, we should nail 'em" He transmitted to Acheson the proper coordiates. Acheson began typing a programmed sequence into the computer, so it could be completed much faster than Acheson could do it manually. The command sequence would charge weapons, target the coordinates, and fire the simulated blast in a second. Hopefully, the Simpson would be unable to raise their shields in time to absorb the blow. With shields up, the shot would not be particularly substantial. He finished the sequence and prepared to activate it. "Here goes nothing!" Acheson activated the sequence and a phaser beam shot from the Chimera to the Simpson, inflicting a hit. He looked at his console. "They just activated their shields, but an entire shield grid is offline. Targeting their primary EPS conduit. Firing" Simulated phasers streaked toward the ship, which took another blow. "That'll take 'em an hour to repair and they won't be in a position to put any serious firepower against us." +TAPS+ "Acheson to Walsh, the Simpson's shields are partially disabled. You can transport to any deck between 1-10 along sections Gamma to Kappa.
