=/\= MaiKai's Quarters =/\= MaiKai had just returned from the infirmary after getting paperwork, or padds, ready. She walked in and sat down on her bed while looking at Kaine. She saw the look in his eyes and decided to take him out for a short walk upon the promenade. She grabbed the dog leash off the top of a small dresser and headed out the door with Kaine. Kaine walked in stride with Mai as the gallantly happy dog marveled at all the children running about. On their walk they pas t many store, one had caught Mai's eye. It was a small little tea shop upon a corner called 'The Brewery' filled with various flavors of tea. She continued to walk past many fun filled stores and delicious smelling restaurants. She wanted to rest and she was quite sure the dog wanted to as well. She took a seat on a bench out side of one of the many restaurants. She not only wanted to stop for a breather, but to think over about all that's happened with her family. She only wished that she spent more time with her family and friends then worrying about curriculum activities and having fun with sports. { Maybe, just maybe, I could have know Jeff better} she thought to herself. Losing one of her family members, no matter how much she didn't know, she truly cared (surprisingly). She dazed off and moved her foot against Kaine's back advising him to lay down for a bit, he did as so. While Mai dazed off, a young man had approached the dog. Of course, she didn't notice anything except the tug from Kaine's leash in her hand when he had stood up from lying down. Kaine licked the man's hand and he took a seat next to MaiKai. The man sat there for a while and petted the dog, probably relieving himself of any mental stress. The dog was so happy, that he lifted his leg and even relieved himself of a few things. The man had happened to just be Lt. Skywalker a man aboard working on Kinsi. Mai had not noticed what Kaine did.
