=/\= MaiKai's Quarters =/\= After unpacking from arriving back on board from Kinsi she decided to have some R&R here and now before going back to work at Chimera's Sickbay. She changed out of uniform and slipped into black shorts and a gray tank top. She turned down the covers, slid in, and curled up as to fall asleep. She laid there for a good hour thinking of her step brothers friend back home and how it sounded urgent that she saw him. She didn't really want to back home right now though, trying to busy with work and all. {Maybe I could invite him here, maybe Jeff could stay awhile, get to know him and hear some things about Kevin and....} . She stopped in the near thought of realizing he really had gone, he wasn't here any more. Ten minutes later she had fallen into a deep sleep. She dreamt of being at her grandmother's in Hawaii and how she would go surfing every day just to prove to her grandpa that she wasn't a wuss or a little daddy's girl. The dreamt shifted quickly back to about Kevin. She was in the car again, but then the dream seemed to rewind. She was now at Jeff's house talking about going to Marissa's house for a few drinks and some talk. Right before she thought was to be good knowledge Kaine had jumped on her bed and had woken her up. She had told the computer to have an alarm like sound to wake her up in time to get dressed and go to the Sickbay. "Computer, shut down alarm sequence," she said as the ringing had made an annoyance pattern of sound waves in her head known for staying there for the rest of the day. " Jesus Kaine, were you trying to scare the shit out of me," she really didn't want to wake up so some might say she was taking it out on the dog. Since she really was just being sarcastic, being not a morning person and all, she was just kidding and the look on the dog's face showed that he had known it all a long. Kaine bent his head down and picked up her uniform from the floor and gestured it to Mai while holding it in front of her face. "Thanks for nothing," she replied in response for the gesture while petting the dog along his back. She got up and put her uniform back on and brushed her hair into a pony tail that she usually did not wear. She didn't care how she looked she just wanted to go to Sickbay and help her follow Sickbay people in catching up with whatever needed to be done.
