=/\= Kaine moving aboard the Ship =/\= Kaine had just had the most interesting meeting with a weird looking man. He was glad the tall goofy guy left and Kaine became eager again to look for MaiKai and walked off away from the lift. He walked down corridors and turned corners while having many of people staring at him like some crazed beast. He bent his head lower in confusion more the fear of anyone; he just wanted to find his master. He kept walking only this time actually looking at the faces of the people to see if he recognized them. Kaine, being a dog, was always cooped up in MaiKai's quarters and only wish of having more time with her and occasionally jogs or walks. On that note, he started to increase his walk to a gallant stride amongst everything and everyone in the corridors. Feeling his tummy growl he decided to search for something to eat. Kaine had to walk down a few corridors and turned a lot of corners before he could sniff the air and find a scent of what smelled like an American Cheeseburger with bacon and hot sauce. This scent had lead the intrigued dog too the Mess Hall. =/\= Right outside of the Mess Hall =/\= Kaine stood outside the enlarged room of tables, chairs, and FOOD. He sat and tilted his head so it was cocked and carefully look to who was the accomplice to the burger. He spotted the man and began to walk right inside of the Mess Hall. He ran around the enlarged room and then jumped on a long, what some would call, banquet table. He stood in front of the person who was sitting at the table, while he was standing on all fours on the table. He looked at the person straight in their eyes. Geez... Did that person looked like they about shit they're pants, after all Kaine's a pretty big dog. He leaned his head down, still looking at the person, and picked up the burger. Still keeping eye contact with the young man, Kaine slowly backed down off the table. He gently placed his fairly won prize on the floor and began to eat. He finished the delicious, over large burger in three bites: afterwards all he could here from three tall men dressed alike was: " Get that dog! That's him! That's him." Well, of course off he went at the speed of light out of the Mess Hall and masses of people and back into the corridors. =/\= Back in the Hallways =/\= He ran out of there and the three Security guards followed. He lead them down many long hallways and sharp turns while weaving in an out couples of people and even various numbers of big groups. Kaine continued to run as much as his heart desired. Oh boy did he love to run! He ran until he thought he lost the three tall men. He stopped for some breath with his tongue hanging out of his mouth. He laid down in the middle of the floor letting his snack settle while he sniffed the air for any interesting 'people' scents. After a few moments he had caught, he caught a scent. A very familiar scent of wild melons in the summer. It was her, his owner, MaiKai. He got up and ran he followed that sent what seemed forever. Kaine stopped in front of a man headed for the direction he had just come from. It wasn't her, how could it not be her; it had her scent. It was Steve Desoto who had worked with Mai in the Sickbay earlier that evening. He sniffed his hand as the man allowed him and laid down at his feet. Kaine began to whimper. He thought even if this wasn't MaiKai maybe he could take him to her. Surprisingly to Kaine, the man just patted him on the head and continued to walk off. He got up and sadly walked off. Kaine, the poor full-bread pitbull, was beginning to feel upset and homesick.
