Content-Language: en <<OCC: this log is taking place during Kaine's running about the ship >> =/\= Exiting out of Sickbay =/\= After stocking up the cabinets with hallucinogenics, MaiKai was on he= r way to the Mess Hall to grab a bite to eat before spending quality time with= Kaine back at her quarters. She was almost out the doors when a hand that h= ad latched on onto her arm appeared. She looked up and was staring into Steve Desoto's eyes. "Uh.=E2=80=A6 Could you get off," and on that comment she shr= ugged him off and began to walk off. "I was just... nevermind," right as she left she= had once again cut off someone's sentence directed toward her. =/\= In the Mess Hall =/\= Mai, as always, took a seat by herself had a small secluded table in one of the corners. She order a tall thick mug off hot vanilla coffee and a= plate of teriyaki chicken that included various types of peppers. She took= a sip and a little bite of the chicken then slumped back in her seat and start= ed to think. She really wanted to go back to sleep in her quarters without any= disruptions, but she was afraid of having a dream that would wake her up ear= lier then what she was usually comfortable with. All she could think about was Kevin, her step brother, and whether or not to ask Jeff if he could come abo= ard and hang out whenever she wasn't working so they could catch up and she coul= d get some answers. Of course she was aware that she may have to ask a higher authority i= s that ok, which is simple enough, but MaiKai is just not really a people person. She looked around at all the people in the Mess Hall having a jolly= good old time with their friends and coworkers. She sat up in her chair and deci= ded to eat some more of her food and drink more of her coffee before it was all about to become cold. She got up after she was done and left the Mess Hall. =/\= MaiKai's Quarters =/\= She got done from eating at the Mess Hall and thanks to eating to fast, a turbulent ride on a lift for her stomach. Once entering her room sh= e put everything in hands away, if any, and began to change into her normal sporty= attire. She slipped out of her uniform and into a white tank top and light blue short shorts. Looking around her Quarters she noticed not only did Kai= ne not greet her at the door, but he wasn't in his doggy bed or anywhere else.= Mai felt like going into a panic attack when the door to her room chimed. She allowed the door to open on it's own and there she saw a Security= guard and Kaine. She gently grabbed her dog by his collar and held him as s= he knelt down and gave him a small kiss on the top of his head. Noticing the guard still standing there she said," What do you want"?
