=/\= Mess Hall =/\= Ceril was new to the engineering department and to the Chimera and with so many people gone for R&R, he was having trouble making new friends. He took his giant double cheeseburger with onions, bacon and hot sauce with a touch of ketchup and sat down at a long table. {Maybe others will join me if I sit at a large table} he thought as he set the trey down and pushed his thick black framed glasses higher up on his nose. He sat still staring at his burger trying to decide how to start when a large beast jumped on to the table in front of him. Ceril and the animal stared each other in the eye. Ceril sat stiffly in his chair looking straight at the beasts large black eyes. {I wonder if its a miniature horse or a large dog.} On the off chance it was a dog Ceril started quietly chanting, "nice doggie..... nice doggie...... nice doggie........ nice doggie." Ceril's chant and his breath caught in his throat when the animal leaned toward him and took the burger from the plate. {I thought I'd never have to deal with dogs way out here.} Ceril felt as though the dog's gaze was burning holes in his head but he seemed to be paralyzed now, and so he just kept his eyes on the furry beast. Ceril's gaze followed the dog as he jumped off the table and he watched as the dog devoured his lunch in three bites. Deciding it was better not to be looking Ceril finally looked away and the dog's attention was taken by something else. Ceril looked back to see the dog run between the legs of one security officer and another officer missed the dog as he lunged for it. With one security officer looking at the dog between his legs and another sprawled on the floor, Ceril let out a scream that startled the third officer into momentary paralysis letting the dog escape safely out the mess hall doors. "My BURGER ..... MY BURGER ...... THAT MONSTER ATE MY BURGER!," Ceril shouted and then took out his inhaler and took a long hard drag as he wheezed. =/\= End Log =/\= Cadet Ceril Winnie NPC apb: Athena
