=/\= MaiKai's Quarters =/\= She fell asleep after getting her dog back. She still couldn't undeerstand why her dog would act in such a way of disappearance from her room. MaKai was glad Kaine was back to her and ok by all the things on Chimera. Yes, of course the people aboard all nice, polite and all, but lately everyone has acted not quite themselves. She dreamt of sunny days back in Hawaii where she would teach kids how to surf and party with friends. In one of her flash back states of her dreams, she saw her older step brother playing with her little brother Tai. All she could do was smile, just seing them together in her sleep made her feel at ease. Falling asleep always made Mai feel more at eas with herself and others around her; they seemed to give her a better perspective on things. She woke up at a jerk of her leg. Kaine had woken up and MaiKai assumed he was feeling bad for what happened. She allowed him to curl up by her side and fall asleep. She laid her head back down on her pillow in attempt to get some rest before wakening for more work in the Sickbay. It was only twenty minutes later when Mai awoke to her alarm clock going off, telling her it's time to get ready. " Every flippin' time I try and go back to sleep, something has to stop me from that luxury," she said for she was not amused by the perfect timing things seemed to happen in sequence for her. She changed out of her clothes and headed for the nice, warm, appealing shower. She got out about ten minutes later to see Kaine standing with her uniform. She quickly chaged into her attire and sat on the bed. Mai faced Kaine and petted him and played catch with one his chew toys; just wasting time beofre starting work. MaiKai walked out of her room saying her short and sweet good bye to Kaine as she headed in the direction for the lift. Arriving on the floor Sickbay was on, she walked down the corridor leading to it as she watched all the passing people. { Everyone is still acting weird}, she thought { What the hell is going on around here?}.
