<OOC ... this JL happens after the 3way JL we are just finishing with Rangi & Jass> ===== Starbase Kinsi ===== Humming a polupar song that he's heard on the corridor party several minutes ago, Shane made his way towards the quarters he and Rangi shared on the base. He spend a hell of a time on the party, but after a hour or so ... he finally thought that it would be nice to see after Rangi. Afterall, they went to the base to spend some time together ... away from the bussing ship's business ... On the other end of the corridor two tall and strong figures appeared ... if they wouldnt wear the familiar yellow of fleet's engineering or security, Shane would get most probably afraid. Very slighty was Shane begining to be aware about his outfit and how he must appear like ... {like a sacrecrow most probably ...} Shane tried not to attract the two man's attention, but it seemd like they were just searching for him! Both man were looking at him, like thinking if it is the man they were searching for. Shane gulped slighty but kept moving. {maybe they would like to buy my straw hat?} he thought. At a meter distance, the two man halted and one of them, wearing a LtJg. pips, looked at Shane from his sunny-boots up to his straw hat. "Erm, Commander Guzman?" he asked quizically. Shane was a bit relucant to say yes, thus he asked back: "Erm ... who wants to know?" Both man looked at each other in wonder before the LtJg replied: "I am Lieutenant Bunny from Kinsi's security, we are looking for the most senior officer from the USS Chimera on baord." Shane asked surpised: "Lt Bunny?" The man looked strange at Shane before replying: "Lt Bune, sir" Shane sighed and thought {I must clean my ears as soon as possible!} "I am sorry Lt Bune, I've heard you not correctly. But yes" he looked at the other man and then back at Bune: "I am Commander Guzman, how can i help you?" Bune sighed slighty ... like in relief that finally they are going somewhere ... "Sir, there is a man from your crew, some ensign Idrani in the custody. He was involved in some bar skirmish." "Huh" escaped from Shane's mouth. {Idrani, never heard of him ...} he thought, {I should me reading the crew rooster more carefully i suppose ...}. "Will it take long?" he asked irracionally. The teo security guys exchanged a puzzled look again: "Hmm ... i dont think so sir, if you would like to come with us please ..." Shane shrugged ... he knew there was no escape from the XO's sign on his palm ... whatever ... "Lead the way Bunny ... erm ... Lt Bune" ===== Custody cells area ===== Shane entered the cells area in teh comany of LT. Stracinsky, the stations Deputy chief of Security. The LT was not much happy about the fact that he should leave Gaalen from his 'custody' and even less when he saw to WHOM he was supposed to leave Gaalen to, but Gaalen did no serious crime and according SF policy should be punished on his own ship. Stracinsky showed Shane a particular cell with a single man inside. Shane looked in the Andorian's bright blue face but didnt recognized the officer. His white hair was typical for an andorian, and Shane searched frantically in his memory ... but failed. {Eighter i had too much dance, or this is a newbie to our ship} he thought. Personally he hoped for the last, but was FAR from sure. Stracinsky deactivated the blue forcefield around the entrance to the cell and said aloud: "Idrani, your vacantion in my cell is over. Your Commander is here to take you up ..." Gaalen remained seated when the forcefield dropped. He looked at the officer and then at the man that was next to him, He raised an eyebrow, in a very vulcan way. "Is this a joke?" He said, looking at the security officer. Ens. Idrani had been expecting an officer clad in a duty uniform wearing a mean face, but instead he got some guy dressed up as ... something he could not believe. Was there a costume party going on? Did this guy come from the beach? "I was expecting the CO or the XO not this guy. Who is he?" He then looked at the strawhat. "Who are you?" This was definetly getting stranger by the minute. Klingons fighting, delusions about Ph'ell, now this. Boy this tour of duty seemed awfully bizarre. He wondered what he'd gotten into. Shane winked like a small appe: "My dear lad, I am Commander Guzman, your Executive officer ... the one and only. So your expectations came very true and here I am. And unless you want in the friendly company of the Kinsi security, you will move your ass and get out that hole they call a prison cell" The Andorian looked up at the Ltjg. and muttered something Shane could not recognize. Most probably it wasnt a pleasant thing cause Stracinsky gave Gaalen a piercing look and turned to Shane once again. "What will you do with him Commander?" he asked clearly unwilling to allow his prisoner to leave. "Feed him to the lions" Shane replied immediately back with a slight shrug. His face was a serious one, just as a man wears who is open and honest. Like he meant what he said ... Stracinsky gasped in surprise. He was quite taken by this Guzman. His appearance ... one of a battered sacrecrow, his strange behavious and now the nonsense he was saying. {The best place for this fellow would be right besides his andorian compadre ... in the cell} he thought. Nonethless ... he steped aside and allowed the Andorian to leave the cell. He gave him one more piercing look and motioned with his hand to the exit. "I hope i wont see you here soon again Andorian ... maybe i would keep you here longer" Shane seemed to take little notice of the harsh words of the LtJg. He was quietly talking to Gaalen and both man were just behind the exit as they catched a hail Stracinsky got from someone: +TAPS+ "... Excuse me sir?" +TAPS+ " Are you deaf LT? find me all those SSF devils on the base and put them some safe" +TAPS+ "You mean all Chimera officers on board Captain? +TAPS+ "Yes, Stracinsky. Every single Intel rascal on my base. NOW! Bind them, lock them up, whatever ... just clean my base of those rubbish" Stracinsky turned to the leaving couple with an crazy but fanatic like facial expression: "Hey you two! Stop right there!" he shouted. Gaalen looked at Shane ans asked: "What now?" Shane grinned at Gaalen: "RUN!" In just that moment a call reached Shane's commbadge: ... +TAPS+ Acheson to any Chimera member, meet me in section Alpha on Deck 257. I wanna get the hell out of here."
