Keylor sat in the captains chair looking over the report that LT foster had written about the shuttle that the two Vulcan corpses had piloted. He found that the explosive bolts used to mount the hatch were blown causing the hatch to open and the shuttle to decompress. But after a long and extensive emanation, Lt Foster could find no mechanical malfunction, no accidental reason why the bolts had been activated and blown. And a search of the shuttle found nothing out of place, nothing unusual with the exception of a single cut flower; vibrant red and withered by the vacuum of space, stuch in a tiny crevas at the base of one of the pilot seats. Lt Foster had summarized that the bolts were activated manually, and deliberately by the two Vulcan’s that had flown her form the base. Keylor thumbed through the padd and noticed a sensor log form the shuttles internal sensors. Keylor opened the log and watched as it played. The log contained only visual images, no audio, but it was clear enough that Keylor could make out the faces of the two Vulcan’s that now lay in sickbay. He watched as he could see the two Vulcan’s acting in a truly un-vulcan like manner. On Vulcan was laughing uncontrollably laughing and stumbling about. The other appeared to be in a panic, scared of some thing. He continued to watch as one of the Vulcan’s approached the hatch, which appeared to just be out of view of the recorder. Second passed by as the scared Vulcan seemed to be tapping away at the hatch controls while the laughing one stumbled over to look at what the other was doing.. Then all of a sudden the recording shook and the two Vulcan’s disappeared form the view. Keylor set the padd down on the chair beside him and thought of the images he witnessed. {What could cause a Vulcan of all people to behave like that? After all Vulcan’s have such great control over their emotions. And Oriana? What has caused her t change, to show emotion even if it is only a little compared to these two unfortunate souls. And there are the other crew who seem, strange. And Dr Sumemrs? She reported something strange happening on the base and then the call form the base operations to leave?? Something is going on, but what?} he though t looking at the star field on the viewscreen. {I was hoping that LT Foster would find some explanation to why the Vulcan’s acted this way. Some malfunctioning ventilation system, a chemical residue of some sort but nothing. And the doctors have yet to determine why any one is behaving this way either} Keylor scowled a bit and then picked the padd back up. He tapped on it and sent the report, along with the sensor log to sickbay. He then opened a communication channel to sickbay. "Bretam to sickbay?" he called out. "Dr Carpenter here sir?" She replied. Keylor shuffled about in his seat. "Doctor? I have sent the report LT Foster has compiled from the shuttle. It appears the two shuttle passengers caused their own demise." He stated in a business like manner. "They caused their own death?" she parroted back. "Aye, it appears so. The report contains a sensor log. You should watch it. It shows some highly unusual behavior form out two unfortunate friends. That behavior lead to irrational actions and their death." He said "Ok sir I will review it as soon as possible. " she replied. Keylor nodded to himself. "Good, hopefully you can use the information to help you find a reason for the odd behavior. And doctor, it is important that you work qwuickly. This might be part of a bigger issue, and Starbase Kinsi might be in danger." She said with a sence of urgency in his voice. "Understood sir. We will work as fast as we can." She replied. Keylor closed the communication channel and then set the pad back down on the chair next to him. He looked back to the view screen and thought about Rangi and the others on the station. {If I had only taken her seriously, may be the crew would all be here now. But instead I ignored her, and half of my crew can now be in danger. I hope the doctors in sickbay can explain what happened and this is all a bunch of worry for nothing.} he though.
