=== SS Pack Mule == Cameron hopped in to the pilot seat of the mule. He had just tucked his passengers away and prepared the ship for launch. He had been three steps away form the hatch when it had opened. To his word he waited 2 hours for the pretty lady to return and was prepareing to leave to tell her captain of the events that had transpired. But she ahd several others had entered the mule just in time. The lady was there, looking as annoyed as every, Cameron figured she was still chased by her footy chest. Then there was a young human male, looking very paranoid and clutching a phaser tightly. Cameron worried about him, he seemed on edge and too eager to use the weapon he held with a death grip. In front of him was a human male, a woman all wrapped up in a blanket, looking terribly scared. When she passed by Cameron she looked up at him with a strange, piercing gaze and then down to where Harvey was sitting. Cameron could have sworn she was about to say hello to Harvey when the paranoid man pushed her along. Next came a Romulan female and a rather suspicious looking andorian. Cameron had thought they looked like an unlikely group, and was sure that their little plan was doomed to fail. After he had made sure the door was secured he showed them to the sweet spot of the ship. The sweet spot was what Seth called it at least. It was a particularly small room, nestled between the forward shield generator and cargo hold 1 and provided a small sensor blind spot from scans. Seth used it for storing his special cargo he tried to hid from the prying eyes of passing federation ships. Though Cameron had never seen Seth store any thing that was considered contraband by the federation, Seth had a strange opinion of items he would 'find' and haul from every destination they would visit. The room smelled like sh. well something not quite palatable. Cameron figured it was the fresh cargo in the fist cargo hold, but it was far from overpowering. He had led them in there, nearly needing a shoe horn to fit them all in there with the latest collection of boxes and crates Seth had seemed to acquire from the previous stop prior to arriving at Kinsi. There were several boxes of atralian silks, a crate with a water condenser and several boxes of assorted medical supplies. Cameron was not quite sure what everything was, he tended to stay out of Seth's business and Seth pretty much left him alone as well. After instructing them to remain there until he could get the Pack Mule far enough away form the base, he closed the door and headed to the cockpit to start his plan to get the station to let them leave. After powering up docking thrusters, and powering up the impulse drive he pushed the button and let his crosswier plan power up. As he watched his gages waiting for the right moment to contact the base requesting emergency departure, he felt the Pack Mule lurch ever so slightly. Quickly he looked over the mules sensor readings and soon he realized the docking clamps had been released and the Mule was free. {Boy that was easy, my false sensor echo had not even reach a level where anyone would consider it to be a danger. They really must be off their rocker.} he thought. Taking advantage of the situation, Cameron quickly engaged his thrusters and move the Mule further away form the hull of the station. Within a minute he had the ship moving at 100 kph and gaining speed. Then the communication channel opened up, it was the base hailing the Mule. "Kinsi station to the freighter leaving the station, WHO gave you permission to leave!" Ens Skywalker in an annoyed tone. Cameron was not expecting the hail. After all 'HE' did not release the docking clamps, he assumed it had to have been the base. He opened a channel and called back. "Kinsi station, SS Pack mule here. I was just about to ask for permission when the docking clamps released. I assumed you had scanned the ship and realized I was having problems and released me." Luke was quite confused and quite disturbed. {If those SSF types get wind of this they will surely deem me unfit and take over the station.} he thought. He regained his composer and calmly replied. "Well yes, of course" he said trying to sound like he was fully aware of any problems. "But no one said you could move away from the station." Cameron looked perplexed as if the voice only communication allowed the voice at the other end to see his expression. "Well if you like I can pull back closer to the station, but when the warp core breaches, you might not like what happens to your station." He said sticking to the plan he had devised. Luke tapped on his console and tried to make sense of the remark. {Warp core? This has to be a test!} he thought as he franticly tried to scan the freighter. He quickly scanned the ship and looked at the display. {Ok. All the cargo holds are filled with tarmain chocolate pudding, there are 5 klingon targs near the front of the ship and in the cockpit a rather large rabbit. } Luke struggled to make sense of the reading. He had to trust his equipment because how could it be wrong. Also he was afraid to call out to the freighter on an open channel, he figured if the ssf ship was still near by they might be able to record his conversation. "Warp core? Uhm. well.. Ok right. Ofcourse."he paused for a moment. "please proceed. As quickly as possible and thanks for docking with Kinsi station." Cameron did not even grin, so far things were far to easy and he knew form his starfleet days, when things appeared easy, they usually were not. He called back to the stations, "Well thank you sir,if you don't mind, I think I will try to get this old bucket of bolts as far away from the station as I can before she blows. Pack mule out." Cameron quickly closed the channel. Now that he was a suitable distance away from the station Cameron engaged the impulse drive at 1/2 power and headed away form the station, trying to not fly like his ship was completely operational and trying to get away. He then next started to scan the area for ships, particularly starfleet starships. Most of the ships that were in the area had been docked with the station, save two shuttles that seemed like they could not make up their mind and flew randomly about the space around the station. Once scanning the area around the station proved fruitless, he started scanning a little further away from the station. It did not take him long to get two faint readings in the distance one of a small starship, intrepid class. Not sure if this was the ship the pretty lady was looking for, Cameron decided it was better than sticking around the station and waiting for the fools there to wake up and figure out the warp core breech was false. Increasing impulse to full he pointed the Pack mule to its new destination and hopefully to where the pretty lady wanted to go. ===End Log== Cameron Sikes Civilian
