Scott said lazily picking up the medpadd Rangi had indicated.Glancing over her shoulder, she saw him sit down and begin to read.She turned back to the replicator and listened to the AMO behind her. "Right..Foster....Lt....Andersen " There was a moments pause."Aha...a fight!..I see!" Rangi carefully lifted two mugs of steaming hot chocolate from the replicator and slowly walked towards her desk. "Multiple abrasions........internal bleeding......." Scotts expression showed mild surprise. "..... fractured clavicle...." he raised his head and commented "He certainly made somebody mad!" Rangi set a mug down beside him "Go on.." she said smiling at the understatement. "Navicular fracture..mmmm......you see what they did for that?" he asked "Skip that bit." Rangi said moving round to her chair and sitting down in it comfortably. "There's more?" She smiled, nodded and lifted her mug."Go on..." A moment or two passed before he looked at her again."Cmdr.Garth Triss...I know that name..." he returned to the padd Silence ensued and she watched Scotts expression turn from interest to amazement and to absorbed concentration. Rangi sipped her chocolate knowing what he read. =/\= Subject is capable of absorbing great amounts of energy through his skin without becoming injured. Has been tested to absorb up to .075 terajoules, before experimentation was deemed unsafe/unneccesary. Absorbtion of large amounts of energy produces two significant factors: First, subject is able to survive without nutrition or rest for extended periods of time (medical note: longest documented case thusfar was 151 hours, at which point subject very suddenly became fatigued and went to sleep immediately -- it should be noted, however, that after sleeping for 8.5 hours, the subject awoke feeling as refreshed as from a normal night's sleep). The second effect this energy absorbtion has upon the subject's body is a change in his cellular structure. Although the subject will maintain his shape, his cells will undergo a transformation where they will turn into liquids of varying density and viscosity. Bones and organs become pliable, and can withstand great pressure, effectively giving his body a rubberized/elastic property. Subject cannot control the degree to which his body becomes like this, nor is he able to voluntarily change his shape -- elasticity seems to depend entirely upon the amount of energy absorbed (medical note: at the height of this effect, subject's skelatal structure begins to lose its integrity. Subject finds difficulty in walking, or pushing, carrying or manipulating heavy objects.) When all excess energy has been used by the subject, he reverts back to what can ostensibly be called a "regular" human. =/\= "That is *amazing*!" Scott said, sitting back and observing the padd. She swivelled it round and read some of it again " 'Medical Notes on Andersen Foster, Clone'" she quoted and met Scotts appraising gaze. "Not a clone in the true sense of the word though?" he questioned. "Possibly not.." she agreed, switching the padd off. "It's always been a controversial subject, certainly in the Confederation." Scott nodded."Some cultures do it though...see nothing unethical in it at all... but the genetic code degrades with successive generations." he paused. "I'd like to meet this man...when you do the arrival medical check...can I sit in?" Rangi took a moment to reply. "If Lt. Foster doesnt object...yes." Placing the padd to one side, Rangi forced a change of topic. "Ok...I'm off to my quarters...and then I have leave!" she smiled at the AMO."Mercedes and Maikai are off too for a time.So Fisher...you have my sickbay" Scott grinned.
