=/\= Counselor's Office =/\= Athena sat at her desk thinking about her dinner with Mr. O'Connell the night before. Actually she kept trying not to think about it as she sent out appointment times for those who needed or requested them for the next two weeks. She had been surprised that she had a nice time with the marine considering where her thoughts were when she left to go to dinner. Athena did notice one thing while she was out and it bothered her a bit. It was as if everyone seemed to have the winter blues. Christmas was coming soon and she sat back in her chair and reminisced about a couple of traditions that different nannies, teachers tried to in still since her parents seemed to be free floaters in that area. She remembered a couple of attempts at baking cookies. {I haven't tried making cookies for years.} As her thoughts continued another idea formed in her head actually a couple of ideas started to blossom just like a Christmas Cactus. Athena hastily straightened up her desk and began on an invitation list to her first idea. The list sort of looked like a whose who of women aboard ship. Rangi Summers Maikai Quiocho Lucy Fleming Mecedes Carpenter Oriana Stephanie Camden Xenai Alshain Anne Robinson Sally Schumann Vanessa Pillows, etc. Satisfied with her list Athena made the invitations to the cookie party that was her first idea to help brighten things up she hoped. She explained in the invitations how everyone was to make cookies from scratch and then bring them to the party. She knew it was short notice but she wanted to get started on her other ideas as well. She set the party for two days away in her quarters at 2 in the afternoon. Fortunately her invitations were animated and electronic and easily dispersed to all parties concerned. Athena figured anyone not wishing to make cookies could just not attend the party, but she hoped at least half the gals would come. =/\= End Log =/\= Lt. Athena Wellington Counselor USS Chimera
