*** Deck 4 * USS Chimera *** Rangi glanced down at the padd she carried, currently displaying the list of names and allocated quarters for the twentyone guests about to join the ship. "I dont think we've forgotten anything." she said quietly and glanced at the counselor keeping step beside her as they walked along the corridor."I'm sure all our guests will be comfortable." Athena nodded agreement as the two reached transporter room 1 and the door slid open at their approach. "Commander?" The transporter chief lifted a padd and offered it to Rangi."We have an extra transport Ma'am." "We do?....thankyou." Rangi said, accepting the padd and activating it. "Yes ma'am...a new Marine." "Riiight..."Rangi replied reading the details. "Mmm...I wonder how that was overlooked." She smiled at the chief. "He's transporting with the children?" "Yes ma'am." the chief replied." He's waiting with the first group." "Fine..lets see them." Rangi handed the padd to Athena. "New ODA " she said."Michael McKnight" Six blue beams glowed brightly and faded to reveal the first of the new arrivals. There were four girls, all blonde and obviously sisters. A tall thin boy looked around and stepped forward first. "Philip Smart." he announced confidently striding down the steps towards Athena. "...and you are?" he queried. Rangi hid a smile at the expression that flashed across the counselors face. {There's the first problem then!} she thought and stepped forward to greet the uniformed figure looking slightly apprehensive who still stood on the transporter padd. "Marine McKnight? I'm LtCmdr Summers Acting Second Officer and CMO here. Welcome aboard Chimera." she said with a smile of welcome. Her commbadge bleeped. "Sickbay to Summers" "Excuse me.." Rangi said, her smile faded at the interruption.She turned slightly away from Michael. "Summers here...what is it Steve?" "Rangi...Maikai's here....as a patient." "What do you mean?" Rangis voice told of her surprise and she stepped away from the group of arrivals. The AMOs voice explained: "She was brought in a few minutes ago..seems she's had a fall." "Is she ok?" "Yes...I think so...she's had some alcohol...though not excessive...theres a contusion above her right eye...I'm getting reading of high Tyramine levels." "I'm on my way...Summers out." Rangi stood for a moment and turned back to the young man looking at her uncertainly. "I'm needed in sickbay." she explained and handed him the padd she held."This shows you everything you need to know...you should to report to Captain Walsh." She excused herself with a polite smile and moved towards the counselor. "Athena?...Sorry...but I've got to leave..."
