=/\= Deck 4 =/\= Athena listened as Rangi talked while they made their way to transporter one. They had barely arrived before Rangi was handed a padd for a new ODA member. Athena was looking over the padd that Rangi handed her when the first group arrived. Six blue beams glowed brightly and faded to reveal the first of the new arrivals. There were four girls, all blonde and obviously sisters. A tall thin boy looked around and stepped forward first. "Philip Smart," he announced confidently striding down the steps towards Athena. "...and you are?" he queried. A quick shadow of what Athena thought passed over her face before she schooled it. "Busy," she replied as she held up a finger to silence the teenager. Philip scowled but waited. Athena walked up to Michael, "Welcome Aboard, Cadet McKnight. I'm Athena Wellington, the counselor." She gave him a comforting smile and said "Good luck," as she returned her attention to the clearly very displeased Philip Smart. Athena turned her attention to Philip as the second group of children arrived. "I am Counselor Wellington," she said in answer to his pervious question as she checked him off the list and added few notes to the padd. She smiled at the girls who arrived with him and asked, "And who are all of you?" Each of the girls said their first name at the same time. All Athena had heard was a chorus of gems but it was enough to mark the girls off the list and add a few notes to the padd. "Counselor Wellington, " Philip started with sarcasm, "where would you like us to go?" Athena's Attention was focussed on making the second group welcomed as she answered, "Since we were able to arrange quarters for all of you in the same area, I don't want any of you to go any where yet." Athena thought she was seeing double, but notice that was not the case it was just three sets of twins and two others. She greeted each child checking their names off her list and adding information to the padd she held as she went. She looked up to find Gina flirting with the transporter chief and Julian was asking him questions faster than the chief could answer and moves Jules hands from the buttons. Athena looked up toward the ceiling and thought {And Rangi wondered what could go wrong.} She gave the chief an apologetic smile when Gina offered to show him the tattoo on her breast as Julian continued with his litany of questions. Jules ran past Athena to try the sensitivity of the door. As the boy ran back past her she grabbed him and turned to Philip, "hold on to him a couple of minutes." She added the word, "Please," as she watched a look of disbelief pass over the teenager's face at being asked to do such a menial job. She nodded to the chief signally her readiness for the last eight children. Another set of blue lights appeared and shortly after eight new faces. Athena greeted them with the same brightness she had the others as she ignored Julian's question and Jules protest at being held captive and Philip's protest at being given a job that was beneath him. She marked the next set of as they gave her their names and added a few notes to her padd as she went. When she came to the last little girl she knelt and half asked half said, "And you must be Melissa Whiley." The little girl buried her face in the neck of her teddy bear and nodded her head. Athena gave the dark headed little one a smile and picked up. She turned to face the rest of the group and said, "Let's all go find our rooms." The faces of the children lit up at the fact that they would finally being walk though the mysterious SSF ship. Gina promptly asked the chief, "Can you show me to my room .... personally?" Athena tapped the girl on The shoulder and said, "Actually that would be my job. The Chief has other things to do." The disappointment on the girls face was the only thing that kept Athena from smirking at the relief that swept across the chief's face. As they walked through the halls Julian and Jules tried their best to trick Athena into think that he was the other twin but oddly enough she never seemed to mess any of them up. It wasn't long before Athena was handing out the room assignments. Philip was pleased to have a room to himself, but Gina and Tessa didn't seemed to be thrilled that Athena had set them up to have a continuous slumber party together while they were on board. The Andover twins and the Jones twins were happy to be sharing with each other. The Goffe brothers sighed when they found out they were sharing with the Barnhart twins but didn't make one complaint which Athena was grateful for. Richard and Mickey were pleased to be sharing a room since they both liked science. The Frasers (Ruth and Damon) had a room to themselves. Michelline was annoyed to be sharing a room with Melissa and Athena hoped it would teach the self centered teen something and not scar poor little Melissa. The Goodwell sisters of course had their own room and giggled as they jumped on their beds. Athena announced in each room to get themselves settled in and she'd be back in a while to show them where the mess hall was. Athena went to her own office and then sent out the information she had gathered on her padd.
