-=/\=- Sickbay -=/\=- MaiKai murmured as she slowly sat up. Ever get that feeling when you stand up or sit up too quickly and it just ... throws you off? Well, Mai leaned over to one side and propped herself up so she wouldn't feel as if she were to roll off the biobed. She opened her eyes and could only see a blur, maybe of a person. Mai moved her arm as if to 'shoo' the blurred object away, instead, she slapped our own Steve Desoto right in the kisser. "Ah ... " came the sound from Steve as he rubbed his jaw on the left side. MaiKai could see a bit better now , "Oh Desoto ... I'm sorry, but by now you should know not to get to close after I've been sleeping." Mai had tried to say as if a smile had occurred, but soon winced. Steve smiled and looked back at her, "Well, I was only going to check up on you so you could leave ... but before you leave I must brief you on something you missed." {Oh, great ... What could I have possibly done now} she thought for maybe she had done something she wasn't aware of. "What could it possibly be Steve? Oh! Before you tell me, could you give something to 'relieve' me of ... pain," she smiled up at him. Steve smirked and continued on, "No, I'm afraid not ... The situation is not that bad ... I guess. The crew is supposed to watch over twenty-one children ages of young to teenage." Oh did Steve think that the look on Mai's face was priceless. "WHAT!?", she explained. "You heard me quite quickly you are to get a kid yourself to watch", Steve had advised her. 0 "Oh, shit ... ," MaiKai said quietly as if speaking out loud while talking to herself. "Is there any 'older' children left, Steve? My dog is ... ummm ... afraid and gets aggressive around 'small' children ... ", she exclaimed as the sound 'children' and 'kid' did not much excite the young Ensign at all. With a relieved smile on his face, Steve replied, " Why yes of course there is one in particular one ... one Miss Gina age of seventeen." {Oh, boy she does not know how this one can be!} he thought to himself.
