*** CMO Office * USS Chimera *** Rangi was in full flow of an organisational flood. She had arrived in sickbay an hour or so earlier and had gone straight to her office to begin working through the backlog of padds on her desk.But her priority was to ensure sickbay was at 100% readiness and with that in mind, she called the four AMO's to a meeting. "Steve...I realize you're going off duty..this wont take long." Maikai sat in the chair opposite Rangis own. Scott pulled forward the only other one in the room and offered it to Mercedes. He stood next to her when she sat down and Steve moved to the right of him. "Ok..." Rangi said, running her eyes across the small mountain of padds and then looking at the four AMOs. "Later today we should arrive in the Tetris System...the children will be leaving the ship...and we can get back to normal." Scott smiled to himself...pleased to think that Gina would soon be a thing of the past. " We will soon doubtless be getting our new orders." Rangi continued."..and so I want to ensure that we are...as always...prepared for anything." Steve shifted from foot to foot. "The recent...episode... following our stay at Kinsi, severely tested us to the limits. I need to ensure that everything is now fully operational and well stocked." Noticing Maikais expression Rangi said: "I know we restocked from the hospital ship...but I want everything double checked.We have no idea what our next mission will be..where we'll have to go...what we'll be called on to do....so bearing that in mind....I want a complete overhaul of supplies and equipment." Mercedes nodded when she met Rangis eye. "I need two of you to check the medikits...make sure each is ready...one check vials the other check protoplasers stimulators and so on.I also need the dermal regenerators looking at. I used one and its power was well down. Please check them all.Likewise the exoscalpels." She looked at her fellow doctors whos expressions ranged from obvious displeasure to stoic acceptance. "I realize its tedious job..." she said "..but you know its of the highest importance.We have to be ready...and that regenerator was not..." There was no need to say more.Scott straightened up. "We'll get to it right away" he said and the other three stirred into movement. "You want a report?" Scott asked, looked meaningfully at the padds and smiled at the CMO. "Yes please." she replied and smiled back at him. The meeting broke up on a note of good humour. "After you ladies..." Steve said, opening the door and waited for Mercedes and Maikai to exit first. Rangi watched them go. The door hissed closed behind Scott and Rangi leaned back in her chair. She stared at the waiting padds and sighed, sat forward and lifted the top one from the nearest stack. She frowned at the heading. There was a tapping on the door. "Its open" she called and a moment later Anne Robinson appeared.
