He disliked the looks he got from just about every medical personel that passed by him, silently wondering what was wrong with him. He wished he had something to read, even a report could do the job. Seeing the doctor he stood and made a step forward. "Good day doctor." "Lieutenant." Rangi smiled as she walked towards him."What brings you to sickbay?...a problem?" she asked in a light and friendly tone, though giving the impression she was already carrying out a quick assessment. "Yes, you could say so, may we discuss the matter in private?" He said, stealing an obvious glance at the nurse. "Why... of course... Thankyou Anne" she said to the nurse and indicated her office. "We can speak in here." She led the way waiting for gaalen to go inside then followed him. "Please... take a seat" she said and walked past him to her chair set behind her desk. She took her place, leaned back and asked. "So... what can i do for you?" "Well... I... How can I say this." He took a breath. "I think I'm going crazy doctor. I can't sleep, always have nightmares, I'm even seeing things which should not be there." He said crossing his arms on his chest. A slight frown appeared between Rangis eyes and she leaned forward. "Right... I see.." She said, instantly captured by his statement. "Seeing things?... what sort of things?" "I'm seeing those I held dear in my life back on Andoria, my past life you could say. First on the station I thought I saw Ph'ell. It would be a nice thing if she was not dead..." He stopped, controlling his emotions. "The lastest one, was during a holographic program of my design, I saw my old mates, Ghalev and Lilen, in the simulation. The problem is, there is no humanoid programmed to appear during the simulation." It was plain to see the engineer was upset. Rangi waited a moment before she spoke, seeing that he tried to regain his composure. "Who is Ph'ell?" she asked quietly "...your sister?...a girl friend?"... "She was my wife..." He stopped, placing the series of events in the chronological order before letting them out of his mouth. "We both served on the same ship. She died during an R&R we enjoyed. The restaurant she was waiting in, was blown to bits, while I was on the other side of the street, hunting for a souvenir for her. Needless to say, I was blamed for letting her die by my father. I challenged his decision and we duelled. He won and rather than killing me outright for challenging his honor he decided to ban me from the Clan and in the same time from Andoria. Of course he could not banish me from my home planet, I chose to leave." A few moments passed in silence. "I'm so sorry." Rangi said with obvious sincerity." I had no idea you were married...forgive me asking...but why did your father blame you?...if there was an explosion..its hardly your fault." She knew she had very little grasp of Andorian customs but the explanation Gaalen gave made her curious. He looked at her. She was obviously curious, but they both where, to his opinion, out of the matter at hand. "The problem is not what I lived before, it's why I started to hallucinate things. I know i'm fine up here." He said, tapping the side of his head with his index finger. "I remember it all, but it has not affected me in such way ever. All these events happened some five years ago. Time past since then and i've grown accustomed to living all alone, without immediate family or friends..."
