=/\= Athena's Quarters =/\= Athena was entertaining Leia by practising her telekentics by telling the child it was magic when the crayon sat in the air a few inches above the coffee table. Athena wondered how long she would have to act as a temporay parent, while Leia's father improved his state of mind (by sleeping it off) and what other arrangements the man would make for his daughter's care. Athena looked at the crayons laying side by side and was somewhat discouraged when she could only manage to levitate 3 of the crayons and only that many because they were small. She smiled at the little girl and encouraged her to make a picture for her dad. As the little girl quietly drew a picture for her dad; Athena thought about the problem with Govenor Smart. Although she appreciated what Shane had done as the CO, Athena had a feeling the Govenor wouldn't give up quite so easily (much like his son). Checking that her chargee was fine, Athena then went and wrote and email to Shane. Cmdr. Guzman: I think prehaps it might be in our best interest to show the Govenor that his son was treated well and that Philips Smart's tales are just a piece of fiction. The fact that Philip was the only one with private room shows that he indeed wasn't treated as a child. There are other that would indicate the teenager was treated appropriately. Besides I don't think I could afford another complaint with my past record. Perhaps a dinner on board for the govenor would go a long way. Lt. Wellington =/\= A Small Time Later =/\= It wasn't long before Athena got a short reply. The breezey memo only said that the idea had merit and we would have the dinner tonight. Armed with that small amount of information, Athena made arrangements for Leia to visit with her father and to have dinner with him too. Athena made the necessary arrngements for the dinner to take place in a small conference room near the Captian's ready room. She and the child had walked a menu for the dinner down to the Mess Hall chef who only nodded. After returning back to Athena's quarters, Athena read to the little girl until she fell asleep. With the child sleeping, Athena took a shower and prepared herself for the dinner. =/\= End Log =/\= Lt. Athena Wellington Counselor USS Chimera
