Rangi noticed Lt. Idrani sitting patiently awaiting his turn to be seen by a doctor. Ending the appointment with her last patient, rangi moved towards the Andorian and gave him a small smile of greeting as she stood in front of him. "Thankyou for coming so promptly." she said. "Please...come this way?" "Yes ma'am" He promptly replied, smirking at the other officers and crewmen already waiting there for hours while his own seat was still cold. He jumped up and followed the doctor's steps, eager to be back on duty. Disregarding the mutters of annoyance she heard, Rangi led the way to a small bay, asked Gaalen to take a seat and pulled forward a chair for herself. "How are things?" she asked as he sat down and looked at her. "Well, so far so good. The medication gave me a good night's sleep. I have yet to see hallucinations since my past holodeck experience but I have no idea if they are gone or not." He said, getting confortable in his chair, relaxing a bit. Rangi nodded and gave a small smile." Good.....good." She shifted on her chair. "Since we last met, Ive spoken to a professor griffin. He's done a great deal of research into this pollen and its effects. He explained to me that sometimes people continue to have hallucinations for some time. In one case....for two years." She waited for her words to sink in." But that was unusual." she added Gaalen nodded. "OK, where does that leave me? I mean they have not yet affecting my work. Only when I'm in personal down time that I seem to be affected. Did he have a miracle solution for my case, or our cases." He finished, meaning of all the other officers outside waiting. "It leaves you where you were before." Rangi replied quietly."There is no miracle solution...just time." She looked away from his steady gaze and after a moment remet it. "I'm affected too." she told him...and so are one or two others. Professor Griffin recommended a counselor as a good beginning to uinderstanding the underlying cause of our fixations." He waited for a second. He was being seen by a hallucinating doctor? his eyebrow shot up, as he wrestled with the thought. If he was not affected when focused, maybe it was her case too. "You mean we have to come to term with our inner demons..?" The answer did not need a reply, he understood and nodded, in silence. "Ok, I guess I know what to do next then." He said, a bothered face showing his concern to seeing a counselor. His past experiences had not been too good..." Rangi looked decidedly uncomfortable. "I know you're not keen on the idea." she said "..and to be honest...well...the professor suggested it as a possible help. The main thing to consider though is...the affect on your work. I dont think I need ask you if thats a problem...you're professional enough to tell me if it is." She paused."...but on the other hand...if talking things over with a counselor would indeed be beneficial...then I think thats the way to go." He nodded again "Very well, I'm sure it would help, even though I'm not entirely keen to the idea, as you say, but I know I don't have much of a choice in the matter. How does it work for an appointment?" "I will set one up for you." Rangi replied. "Lt....one other thing. I have to inform Commander Guzman of the..problem. You understand." He simply nodded, knowing there was little he could do to go against regulations and right now, keeping busy was his own working remedy. "If there anything else." He asked, urging to get back to engineering? Rangi stood up. "No...nothing else. I wish there was." she added. "I'll arrange for the counselor to see you. Please keep taking the medication. Being tired wont help....and I'd like to see you again...in two days...just to monitor things, ok?" "Yes, ma'am." He replied. "I'll make sure I come by in two days." He replied dutyfully. He stood and followed her to the door of her office and out to the waiting area. "Thank you for your time, doctor." "No problem" Rangi responded quietly and watched him walk away. "Ok...who's next?" she asked the waiting crowd. Three people raised their hands. Rangi smiled weakly." Cadet?..this way please."...
