-= Turbolift =- Gaalen tapped his combadge, unable to wait any longer he wanted answer rightnow. "Idrani to Lieutenant Versey." He said in a booming voice, making the woman in front of him startle. "Versey here, go ahead sir." The combadge sounded the voice of Versey. "Do you have any findings on our current problem?" He asked, not caring what his fellow passenger heard. "Negative sir, all the anti-matter systems are up to specs, I've pretty much given up, I'm trying to see other avenues but nothing on this side, that's for sure." Gaalen made a sound that was somesort of growl with a touch of disappointment. "Good work, Versey. We'll find it. I'm coming back to engineering..." "You where gone?" Hawk cutt in. "I've been so busy I did not notice." "Yeah, doctor stuff..." He paused finding what he'd wanted to say before he was cut off. "Take a break maybe the mind will clear up for new ideas. Gaalen Out." He tapped his combadge again. "Gaalen to Xenai, do you have anything to report?" Xenai jumped at the sound of the combadge. It took a moment to register just where the sound had come from. "Well sir..." She trailed off, giving Ensign Dallas a questioning look. He simply shrugged, "Just tell him what we know, maybe he'll have some brilliant idea" Xenai continued, "We've located the source of the missalignment, it seems there is an unequal flow in one of the Plasma Transfer conduits, that created a domino effect in the whole warpcore matrix." She paused, and glanced at Dallas for support. He simply shrugged, and she was forced to go on. "The only problem Sir, is that we cant find the source of the inbalance in the transfer conduits. We thought it could have been somewhere along the chain of power distributers in the higher level EPS taps, but the sensers arent picking up anything" "Tell him about the Type 3 over load" Dallas added. "Also, by our calculations." Xenai sighed, "If we cant get this straightened out within 3.7 hours, there will be mild power outages and surges through out the type 3 systems, Lights, PADDS, computers, this will intensify over approxamately..." Xenai paused again glancing up at Dallas, who punched in a few numbers on his PADD and silently mouthed "26" "26 hours, until the entire ship is paralyzed." Gaalen's mind raced as the TL took him to engineering. The door opened and he still did not have a solution, thinking outloud so Xenai could hear him over the combadge. Then it flashed. "Yes, that's it. Send a plasma burst in the EPS system at a different wave lenght than normal and follow that exact frequency with the internal sensors, not the EPS grid sensors. It should reveal to us the location of the problem." He said, hoping what he thought solved a part of the puzzle. "I understand" She smiled, Ensign Dallas did the same. "Why didnt i think of that" he smirked, Xenai raised an eyebrow, "i didnt think you thought at all" He gave her a dirty look, as she walked over to the console and began punching in codes. If Lt.Idrani was right, that would lead them straight to the problem. Xenai slammed her hand down on the console, and gleamed at the Ensign beside her, "we got it!" She scrolled through the data, "Deck 12, section 4-A, there appears to be some kind of plasma turbulence there, but the EPS Sensor Grid can't pick up what." Dallas leaned over to take a look "It looks like theres a hole in the damn sensor grid" "Thats why we couldnt pick it up with a regular sensor sweep" +taps+ Ensign Alshain to LT. Idrani "Yes, ensign." He replied pulling next to her and Dallas. "I think we may have something sir, Deck 12, section 4-A" Gaalen read the screen and he knew they had hit dead on target. "Excellent work, Ensigns." He said. "Now I need you to fix it. The ship needs to fly on it's own pretty darn soon." "Alright, I'll assemble a team and we'll be there shortly." She nodded to Dallas, "Go get Kryton, Simoraldes, and Dr'cksau, and anyone else who still looks awake." Dallas nodded, and began to make the rounds. When Dallas was gone, Gaalen turned to Xenai. "This smells like sabotage to me, what do you think?" "That would mean its one of the crew" Xenai frowned. "Or one of the visitors we've had for a time." Gaalen countered, not wanting to point a finger at a guilty party. "lets hope it was just a brilliant accident" Xenai said, nodding. "Lets go Princess!" Dallas teased from across the room, standing infront his brigade of engineers. He quickly changed his expression when he saw Lt. Idrani's face, turning his laugh into a pseudo-cough. "The team is assembled" he said as officially as possible. Xenai nodded a salute to Lt.Idrani and walked towards the team, raising an eyebrow at Dallas. "You set me up" he whined as they all crowded into the turbolift. Xenai shrugged, "I have no control over what comes out of your mouth" He rolled his eyes as the turbolift doors slid shut.
