-=/\=- MaiKai's Quarters -=/\=- MaiKai always seems to have a bad morning ... always. She turned to ask the computer what time it was or to look at the small clock on her bed side table and instead hit her head on that very table. Mai knew she probably had to be at Sickbay, but she turned back to the other side and pain. Just to lay there to regain consciousness would be nice. Kaine came up to the side of the bed and started to tug on the covers. "God, ok. I'm getting up. What are you my mother?" She slid her legs over one side of the bed and attempted to stand making sure she wouldn't trip over the dog or something. She walked to her sonic shower and of record time of 15 minutes got out and got dressed to head up for Sickbay. -=/\=- Sickbay -=/\=- MaiKai walked through the double doors leading into Sickbay and spotted Lucy Flemming. Mai looked up and saw snickering and was about to ask her what had happened, but Mai soon answered her thoughts, "Don't ask you don't want to know." After Lucy shrugged and walked off Mai picked up a padd near by and had her own thoughts of her morning: {first, if I wasn't a bad enough klutz already, I hit my head, then the damn dog gestures me out the bed as if my Mom use to do, only more polite. Then some guy in the lift tries to fondle me in the lift and some woman with a hurt leg beats me with her cane}. She begins to walk through the steps of what has been restocked or double checked and what still does as she looked over at the counter near by. Mai soon heard Lucy Flemming's voice and turned around. There was some new guy sitting on a biobed, Mai figured he needed his 'physical.' She looked away and fondled through a box to see what placed in it when a guy walked through Sickbay and just stood there looking around as if he was staring down for a bathroom. MaiKai sighed and walked over to him, "Can I help you sir?" The guy thankfully looked over and said, "Yes, I am Ensign Adam Ballard and I have broken my wrist." Mai then smirked and replied, " Well, that's obvious ... but how did you do it?" Looking down at his feet, as if he had to think about it, Adam flatly put out there, "We were playing Parises Squares." She thought for a moment: {yeah like I know what the hell that is} "Yeah ... umm ... ok then. Just sit here a minute." Mai walked away and returned back with an Anabolic Protoplaser and a hypospray to take away the pain. "Men ... you really should be more careful yeh know," she said teasingly with a wink. The Ensign chuckled down in his low voice, "Well, if you put that way ... I'm very sorry." MaiKai shook her head "I bet you are sorry" she wanted to say, but instead replied with, "You may leave in about 20 minutes."
