=/\= Athena's Office =/\= Athena sat at her desk and looked at her schedule. {Only one more appointment for today.} She sincerely hoped that talking with the crew was helping to put their minds at ease. There were a few that seemed to have bigger issues which were the underlying cause of what seemed to manifest from the pollens affects. In other cases it was either a cute comfortable childhood memory or in some cases a nightmare. Athena had let her mind open a bit more than usual to help visualize what she sensed from those she was talking to at the time. After reviewing and listen to six different people; she was ready for a break. {One more to go and then maybe a run.} She checked the schedule one more time noting that Corporal Burrows was the one who was coming in. Athena pulled up the corporal's file and briefly skimmed it until Angela arrived. As the young woman walked through the door Athena looked up and smiled. Athena started by giving what was rapidly becoming her standard beginning speech. Angela had began with telling her ink spot looked like frogs. {Bet that's what she sees.} Angela was very open and did a lot of talking which was good. =/\= A Few Minutes Later =/\= Athena smiled at Angela and told her that the fact that she knew her frog friends weren't really there even though she couldn't seemed to stop herself from talk was fine. Not prefect but under the circumstances fine. Athena suggested that the corporal try interacting with the frog stuffed animal that the woman kept to remind her of her family. Athena further explained that her seeing frogs now could just be a manifestation of how much she was missing her family when the pollen effected her. Athena also suggested that Angela write home a very nice and long letter. The counselor told her to be sure to include any questions about things back home that might be concerning her. Athena also requested that the corporal write down any questions that the woman might have for her the next time they met. Athena had made similar suggestion in cases where it applied. As Corporal Burrows stood up so did Athena; they shook hands and the young woman left slowly like she was waiting for someone or something. Athena smiled a bit and gave her neck a small roll to stretch it. Athena went about shutting down the office and moved through the door that connected her quarters and her office. She stretched a bit more, but thought she felt a bit stiff and that a run might do her some good. =/\= End Log =/\= Lt. Athena Wellington Counselor USS Chimera
