-=/\=- Sickbay -=/\=- MaiKai just got done attending to the man with the sprained wrist. After walking away with a smile she turned to check on restocking. {hmm ... Oh Sweet God} she thought to herself then filled with excitement to yell, "Stockings done! Hell yes!" Mai went up to Steve Desoto and told him she'd be off for the rest of the night and may go out to get something to eat. She really wanted to do something fun to waste her energy in excitement though. {A Holodeck Simulation of some back-at-home surfing would be fun} MaiKai now had a bit of a flashback as she thought of the good old days where her and some of her friends would go to the beach and goof around and even ride some waves. With a grin on her face and that wonderful thought in her head she walked out of Sickbay. -=/\=- Holodeck -=/\=- She got to the Holodeck after skipping down corridors and decided to have some fun. Mai ran her access code and it cleared as she walked in. [Computer, run simulation maikai#10.] She let the computer think as it was loading her request. In front of her appeared a wide ocean on a clear day with many waves. A bright sun was an above and the beach was a sandy tan and brown. Instead of a lot of people at the beach, she had it all to herself to do what she pleased. MaiKai stood there in her bright two piece swim suit that contrasted against her tan Hawaiian skin. Below her at Mai's feet laid her favorite surfboard. It was many shades of two colors. In the middle of the board it was white and then it faded to light blue, blue, dark blue. Then it would start over without the white from the dark blue, to light purple, purple, blue violet. She picked it up and looked at it for a while. Then MaiKai took it and started at a slow-fast pace to the ocean with the board tucked under her arm. She put it down at the ocean's edge and Mai laid on top of the board and started to paddle/sail out to the ocean. She got out to a semi-center part of the ocean and stopped pushing out int o the water. MaiKai sat up and straddled the board and just looked over at the horizon and gazed into everything she's missed. Suddenly Mai laid back on her stomach as she saw a wave about to come her way. She arranged her feet as if she would stand up any minute. When the wave came, Mai did and she began to surf like never before. She got into a spiral like wave and felt her heart lift out of her body.
