Athena had noticed that the closer the ship came to its destination the more
on edge she felt. To alleviate her nervous energy Athena began walking
through the ship. She kept trying to recall the facts that she had studied, but
thoughts of that last meeting with Shane and Rangi kept filtering in. She
rounded a corner thinking {Am I that unpredictable?} She shook her head and
lengthened her stride. {I'll walk for 15 more minutes and then I'll go to the
bridge.}

Feeling more relaxed and less nervous Athena started for the bridge. The
closest lift was a couple of turns and long hallways away but it shouldn't take
her long to reach her destination. She turned and headed toward the lift when
she noticed a strange feeling. Athena shook the feeling off and continued on
her way. She had hardly taken two steps before the ship shook. Athena looked
up and the red flashing through the corridor and noticed with the second
ripple that rocked through the ship that crewmen had left their quarters and were
moving to where they were need. The ship shook a third time.
Athena took a couple of stumbling steps before hitting the first of her
corners before the lift and fell to the floor. A call for help propelled Athena to
her feet. Halfway down the next hallway Athena ran into Cadet Jillian
Skyler. Jillian was on her way to science when she twisted her ankle during the
last bit of shaking. Athena listened to the younger woman chat as she helped the
other woman to her feet and convince her sickbay was the place to go.

It wasn't long before Jillian and Athena reached deck 5. Athena was grateful
as Jillian's nervous chatter was beginning to grate on Athena's nerves.
However, Athena only saw chaos instead of the efficient help she expected to find.
There were marines directing people to an alternate location. Doctors,
nurses and medical technicians seemed to be grab equipment and patients at a
frantic pace. As someone rushed passed them; Jillian was jostled into Athena's
side. The counselor bit her lip as she began to wince. Ignoring the discomfort
of her right ribs, Athena helped to steady Jillian and began to move her to
the cargo bay that a marine had told them to head to.

Athena had found a place for Jillian to sit while others more seriously
injured people were seen. Equipment was being set up quickly and a couple of
doctors with one of the nurse were tending to the serious patients while two other
nurses worked together as a triaging those that were coming in. Athena gave a
reassuring smile to the others as she left and headed toward the bridge.
