=/\= Bridge =/\= The bridge lighting remained subdued as the red lights blared intermittently, while the crew manned their stations. Nathan slapped his fist bluntly against his console. "Damn it! This piece of ...." he quickly censored himself and continued about his work. "Commander, external sensors are still offline. I have phasers ...." He hesitated for a minute and then continued: "No, wait. I don't have phasers. I have photon torpedos but nothing to photon torpedo because I can't aim the damned the things." His voice became more tense and angry as his report progressed. Damage reports are still coming in from several decks. Acheson reflected on the situation. How was the Romulan ship? Right before they were disabled, he had released a heavy volley of weapons. But then again, the crew compliment on this ship never seemed to change. Were they dealing with some kind of immortal, super Romulan? Removing his thoughts from the supernatural, his mind crashed down to reality. He needed to find a way to target his remaining weapons incase they needed to defend themselves. "Sir" he called out. "What if we launch a probe. We can use the telemetry to target our torpedos." Guzman nodded. "Can it be done?" Acheson walked to the rear and typed out a few commands on the console before shaking his head in disgust. "Never mind. We have no way of receiving and interpreting the telemetry. That computer system is offline." He went back to his work and then had another idea. "We could maybe launch a shuttle. Communications are online, so we could maybe find out by subspace where the ship his." A voice called out from the darkened room. "Can't. The shuttlebay door operating mechanism is on a deck with a compromised power system. To draw that much current, you'd need to take life support off on that deck and can barely maneuver there as it is. I don't see it being feasible to evacuate it just yet." Nate nodded, before continuing with another idea. "What if .... we use an older, dualtronic sensor array? We could probably set it up fast and its data would be slow, but it would be reasonably accurate." =/\= END LOG =/\= MCapt Nate Acheson CTAC USS Chimera "Screws just fall out all the time; The world's an imperfect place."
