Hello all, Well it has been some time since the Listed CO of the ship has submitted a report, but Our faithful XO needed a break so I am trying to help the best I can. A slow week this week, but seeing how active everyone has been over the last few weeks it is bound to happen. Some of you who did not log did not request an excused. Just a reminder, if for any reason you cant log, any reason what so ever, please drop the command team a email requesting an excused, we will be glad to give it. SO now that the fighting is over, there are pleanty of things to do, ther eare repairs to be made, injured to heal and getting back to the business at hand. If you have any questions about what to log, ask your department head or one of the command team and we will help in any way we can. Ok enough from me, on with the rest of the report. Indy ============== Hello Chimera's crew. A sloooooow week this time for our little ship. I have to say that I am a bit dissapointed about that, but on the other hand i have to say that i very well understand the RL reasons some of us have. Simming should never interfere with Real life, after all I am too a real person and not Shane Guzman. But then again, beeing inactive for the whole week and not even sending an request for beeing excuse is not a think we like and can tolerate. PLease dont forget, three unexcused in a line and you are on report. Another unexcused ... and we have to drop you. We are always sad about anyone to drop, but when you cant drop us a line or two in a month ... we cant count on you anymore. Just when they thought the deep probes were going to work gel paks started to explode and steel the oxygen out of the air. Astrometrics was evacuated, the injured scientists were taking to the temp sickbay and the healthy scientist were going to have to relocate for a bit. Shane learned of his protective guard when the ACO emerged from a Jefferies Tube. Shane was informed of his need to make an appearance in sickbay after a short discussion with the ODA sergeant that was to keep him safe. However, a trip to engineering was first on Shane's list. Gary Williams awaited for someone to rescue him from his trap. Modana finally showed up with help and the trio made it back to the security offices where Gary decided to keep old man Walsh company just in case he need help; medically speaking. Athena walked the ship doing what little she could to help out and eventually fell asleep. Shane met up with Oriana in the physical lab. She informed Shane of the amount of data they were able to retrieve from Astrometrics and of her theories. Shane thought her theories were interesting and wanted a report in twelve hours. (Nothing like a little pressure.) Finally making it to the temporary sickbay Shane had his injuries checked out by the very competent Dr. Summers. Rangi was satisfied the healing of Shane's arm and fixed the bruising on his head and then she apologized to Shane. MaiKai finished her medical magic on the bridge and returned to the temporary sickbay and began doing rechecks on the patients there. She persuaded a patient to remain in bed and rebandaged her own bloody knee. Scott made a polite order of his own that Rangi gets some sleep and she agreed with a minimal amount of fuss. Michael McKnight and a couple of other ODA members helped get some of the repairs on the way to the shields. ========================== ===================== Quotable Quotes (by Rangi) Understatements in Astrometrics... One of plasma conduits teared and the plasma began to burn. The closest consoles liquefied and the fire burned the oxygen in the room. "Leave the astrometrics!" Oriana cried out, that she was heard: "Help to injured and away from here!" She helped closest crewmember at the legs and they all run out of the astrometrics. Oriana closed the door quickly and they continued to run then. An explosion was heard in the next moment. They stopped round the corner. "Oh, sir, this was within a hair," said Themian. Shane was on his way down to engineering. For a moment he cursed the ship designers cause its seems a VERY long way from the bridge to engineering, particullry through the jeffries tubes. Shane was not used to crawle through those tubes, he was always a bridge officer and his place was rarely somehere else and his back started to ache 5 minutes ago. For a moment he wished the transporters would work ... but the same he could wish for a little faery ... * {I feel like a trained rat in a maze!} Rangi thought as she crawled along on hands and knees. {I cant believe in this day and age they cant come up with something better than this!} * After a long and tedious crawl through what seemed like the whole ship, Michael and a small team had made their way to Deck thirteen * Gary thought he had narrowly escaped harm as he rabbited his way through the warren of jeffries tubs when he heard a large explosion and the air began to rush past him. He was nearly swept away, loosing his comm badge until the emergency force fields engaged and plugged the gaping hole in the hull. Helpless and unable to call for help, he simply laid there watching the stars ========================== ==== Applying pressure..... Shane noded again: "Very well then Lieutenant. I expect that report to be ready in 12 hours. This is a very important point, cause if that attackig ship was really a romulan war ... this can easily escalate to an intelstelar war." He looked at Oriana to stress the importance of his words. {12 hours? I like the work under pressure.} thought Oriana. "I know sir we will seek."
