-=/\=- MaiKai's Quarters -=/\=- MaiKai Quiocho woke bright and early, for some odd reason, and decided to take a decent shower; hoping that the shower worked. She stripped on to nothing, but a towel and walked over to turn on the water. Splish, came the sound of rushing water and Mai smiled to herself as she took off her towel and stepped in. MaiKai's shower was short for her only, about, thirty minutes. Mai got out of the shower and walked slowly around her room to get dressed for the day. She was still, somewhat, limping, but she didn't care. Her left knee started to feel better each day, sometimes with an odd out spurt of pain every once in a while, but other then that ... just fine. MaiKai grabbed her uniform from Kaine, thanking God there wasn't slobber on it, and started to brush her hair out. While brushing her hair, she thought of the other day and how pathetic Kaine looked in Sickbay, but tried not to let it get to her. Finishing brushing out her hair, she pulled her hair back into a high ponytail and let some of her bangs, that were the length of her chin, fall back down in place. MaiKai sat on the bed for a while thinking of what to do. She patted the bed and allowed Kaine to rest up against one of her pillows to fall back to sleep. Mai gave Kaine a little pat on the head and a kiss before getting up to leave the room. -=/\=- Sickbay -=/\=- A few hobbles down hallways and a lift, Mai reached Sickbay doors and decided even though she couldn't move around to help people, that she could at least do checkups and read padds. "I thought you were off work?" MaiKai heard a friendly voice and turned around briskly. It was LtJg. Scott Fisher. She smiled back to him and replied, "I can still be in here and do stuff, you know that. You smartass," she smirked as she walked over to a counter to pick up a few padds to examine over. MaiKai glance around at a few familiar faces above the three padds she was reading: Rangi Summers, Shane and Martin Guzman (for some odd reason) and Steve Desoto. She overheard that the counselor, Athena Wellington, was kidnapped and should be returning by a small device back to the ship. She returned back to the padds reading up on a few patients who were hurt during the first round of hits or so. Suddenly there appeared a glow in the room, thinking it was Athena, Mai stepped closer to the familiar people crowding the glow as well. A minute later, standing in front of them was not the counselor, but a Romulan! "What the heck are you doing here !?" Shane cried at the unsuspecting Romulan man. Shane took a step more in the direction of the Romulan man and asked again: "Where is our counselor?" MaiKai turned away for a minute thinking this couldn't be right, but when she turned back around the Romulan had kicked the ACO in a very painful place also suspected by women would hurt men the most if ever kicked there. The Romulan soldier evaded Martin's punch, who was caught up in the sudden fight as well, with ease with jumping to the side and with his own hand he hit Martin in the back part of his neck hard. With a chirping sound from his lips, Martin fell to the floor like a sack of bones. During this time, MaiKai and Rangi were getting pushed back from the situation from Steve Desoto and Scott Fisher. After a Marine or some security personnel came in to stun the Romulan soldier, Mai was beckoned over to help Steve with the Guzman brothers. MaiKai pulled Martin's arms around her soldier and lifted him up a little bit, Mai's a woman, but she can still be strong at times. MaiKai managed to get Martin onto a biobed somewhat and had treated him with a muscle relaxor and a hyospray to see if that would ease his neck a bit and so Mai could get a better look at his neck. She saw Shane glance over, who was by Rangi on a biobed, her direction to reveal that Martin was alive the same to him. MaiKai turned back to Martin's attention and saw him squint a bit, probably form pain, and patted his arm as she looked down at him and said for reassurance, "You'll be fine sir ... It's really not that bad." -=/\=- End Log -=- LtJg. MaiKai Quiocho AMO USS Chimera
