===== Bridge ====== Shane materialised near the middle of the bridge and as soon as his body was full there .... he turned to Acheson. "On screen Captain", and turned halfways to face the large main view screen. The angry siluete of the Romulan Commander apeared on the screen. "What are you thinking with kidnapping one of my crew directly from my ship?" he shoot his question like from a gun. "What are YOU thinking with kidnapping my counselor?" Shane replied to him with a counterquestion. Not a single muscle on the romulan's face revealed the shock that Shane guessed their actions right. Originally, the romulan team down on the planet had the mission to let one or two members of the federation away team dissapear and thus drive the 'feddies' do some some more mistakes. The kidnapped humans should be beamed directly to the warbird ... but unconcious. But what the Romulans did become back from the planet was their own man that spoke about some Kzenti/federation plot. And now Guzman beamed that very man over on his ship. {A good move!} the Romulan Commander thought. "What game do you play with us Guzman?" asked the Commander angrily, "It was you who beamed one of my men to your ship. How will you justify that?" Shane sqeezed his eyes for a moment befre replying: "I beamed the emergency transporter beacon of MY counselor. How will you justify that YOUR man was beamed here instead of her?" Shane asked with some traces of anger the same. {That little witch} The Romulans Commander thought {and what a fool that let her attach it to him}. The Romulan shrugged: "I have no idea, maybe did it your councelor down on the planet to give you a 'reason' to kidnap one of my man ..." {Damn} Shane thought. He knew he had little reason to keep the arrested romulan on board. Theoretically ... it were the romulans who were in low and every federation court whoud said that. A nice good ace would be of good use here .... but Shane had none. "Send us coordinates where we should return your man Commander. I .... apologize for our mistake" Shane hissed. Turning to Foster he said: "Cut it off". Clancing over at Acheson he ordered: "I want a detailed scan of the warbird. If they keep LT. Wellington there, i want to know that." "Aye, sir" was Acheson's reply and he started to tap his console away. Shane slid into the CO's seat cursing mentally the romulan who kicked him in the sickbay. Even after Rangi's treatment that 'hurt' bit of his body still gave him a nice deal of aching. Calling towards the OPS station Shane said: "LT. Foster, please call Captain Walsh to the Captain's ready room." Shane saw Andy turning in his seat and saw a slight suprise on his face: "Commander, Captain Walsh just left the ship with his away team". "What away team?" Shane asked somewhat perplexed. He didnt order any away team ... till far he remembered. "To the asteroid from where we picked up the strange signals." came Andy's replty. "Looks like i am not in full picture about what happened when I was down on the planet. Who ordered that away team?" "Commander Summers, sir" Shane noded: "I see, please ask Commander Summers then to come to the ready room" he said and carefully stood up from the seat. "Aye, sir" Foster replied. "Lieutenant" Shane went on, "I want a full ODA team being prepared for an away mission within 10 Minutes. When we will find out where the counselor is, i want her back asap. By the way, is 2LT. McKnight on the away team too?" "Yes Commander" "Those new Operations specialist, Petty officer ... hmmm ..." "Williams, sir" Acheson helped, "he's in that team as well" "Nice" Shane said {all three of them away ...} "So I'll comand the away team by myself. Have Lt Oriana preparing for the away team ... Lt Quicho and Lt. Carpenter the same.
