====== Rooms of the Intel Service, Kzenty Royal palace, Kzenti homeworld ===== A Kzenti soldier came inside the room. He waited till the heavy security door closed behind him and only then spoke towards a small group of other Kzenti's soldiers standing around a holoprojector display. "Excuse me my lord Pu'pus" he started, "I have two urgent reports for you." A tall and strong build Kzenti looked up from the holodevice at the errand runner. He didnt liked to be disturbed during his meetings and even if he knew that the errand runner just followed his orders, his look was a hard one. Lord Pu'pus was a member of the royal Kzenti family, a cousin of the Kzenti Queen ... and the Commander of the Kzenti royal navy. At the beginning of all this plot concerning the Federation and the Romulan Empire was Pu'pu's desire for glorious battles and great victories. It was his voice that proposed this secret plot in the Queen's council and it was his voice that step after step managed to convince the Queen to bless it. Pu'pus was a Kzenti full of ambitions, he was a warrior and a leader from his deepest soul and this plan could help him to achive everything he was dreaming of. The key to the success was the new developed chameleon technology. Combining the cyborg-bio ship's of the Kzenti navy with this new technology, the Kzenti were now able to 'copy' any enemy ship they would encounter. The Copy was extremly hard to reveal, cause the Kzenty Bioships turned their Biostructure into the 'real' structure of the other ship. The 'Bio-skin' on Kzenti's ships could easily turn into duranium, titanium or any other alloy used in the alpha or beta quadrant. It was not just a copy .... it WAS real duranium/titanium. No known scan could find any difference there. Such a 'mutated' Kzenti ship could be revealed only by a total destruction ... only then the Bio-core of that ship (or the debrises from it) would proove the ship as a facsimile. The greatest weakness of this chameleon technology was the fact that the Kzenti needed extremly detailed informations about the ship they were abou to copy. The more data they would collect the more perfect the copy would be. The Copy of the Romulan Warbird the Chimera was attacked by was quite an unperfect copy ... it had no registry number or desination ... the hull alloys had no 'origin' from where they were mined from and the biosignals of the crew remained constant during the whole battle ... But now, with having enough time to scan the Federation Interpid class ship and the Romulan D'Derix class Warbird, this flaws will soon be removed from the process. Pu'pus knew he would need a damn good copies for his ultimate plan ... to 'fake' a federation invasion into the Romulan space ... Pu'pu's most loyal ally was the Kzenti Intel service. Papalas Chu'dy who was in charge of the service was a long time friend of Pu'pu's and fully supported the Lord's planns. Chu'dy was not blinded by personal feelings or desire of fame and glory, but he was a fanatical servant of the Kzenti kingdom and this plot could lead the Kingdom to an age of might and power. "Speak" Lord Pu'pus bided the errand runner. He looked at Chu'dy a bit surprised that it wasnt the Intel CO who brought him the most fresh news. "My lord, the first report is a good news. Out sensors around the K-II research station detected debrises clearly of federation origin. With a certainity of 78% we can presume that the federation shuttle that was flying towards the research station was destroyed." Lord Pu'pus noded and wiated for the other news. Chu'dy said nothing, but his face showed disapproval. {Eighter are the federation's extremly stupid or the are more cunning then I ever thought} he thought. "The other news my Lord is a bad news. The human woman held captive by the Intel service escaped from her prison cell 15 minutes and 34 minutes ago. The guard that had duty at her cell reported that his concentration was somehow disturbed and he was not sure what happened. Till now the guards could not find her" Lord Pu'pus looked angrily at the Papalas. Papalas Chu'dy noded like he would expect that: "There was a suspicion about hidden power that the human woman was in possesion, most probably pshychical nature. Eighter she used them of the 'luck' factor was extremly at her odds. That would give the day an interesting twist. I belive she is expecting her ship to find her and rescue, but I know a way how to keep them busy. The humans belive that the Romulans have the woman as a captive ... so we will give them a 'proove' that they are 'right'. In the meantime we will find the human woman, there are not many places she could hide." Lord Pu'pus noded to the Intel CO. "Good ... what do you think about the first news?" Papalas shook his with implants enhanced head: "You know my Lord that I have not a high mind for the humans, but some details already made me think that they are maybe a lot clever then they look like. I will trust this news only when two fighter ship's will confirm the debrisses and a shock troop from inside the research station will sweep the whole area to make sure the humans are not there." Lord Pu'pus noded again. He liked the way his Intel CO distrusted anything that was not confirmed from three sources ... even when he found it sometimes very annoying. "Are the romulans still near K-II?" Papalas Chu'dy noded: "Yes my Lord, their unit suffered approximately the loss of 75% of firepower, but they are still in their cloacked shuttle somewhere at the asteroid's surface." Lord Pu'pus looked then at one of the rest of the Kzenti he was having a meeting before the errand runner's coming. "How long till we will have enough data for the Chameleon technology?" The Kzenti Pu'pus was now speaking to was a bit smaller then the rest, with a bit lesser number of implants on his body but more then a dozen on his head: "About 48 hours my lord" the researcher said.
