== /\ Kzenti Research Facility /\ ===== Jack took two steps forward into the airlock with all 16 of them piled in. Lynch used his technical wonders to access the airlock and pressurise the place so that they could remove their bulky EVA suits. McKnight was the first to remove the helmet, Jack let the Assistant Commander go first, in case he, you know...died. "For a moment there I thought your brain was going to get sucked out all the recent holes in your head Lieutenant" Jack almost cracked a joke, the fact that he kept a serious face meant that if anyone dared laugh they'd be doing laps of the ship, providing they get back alive. "So far so good, It does not appear that we have been detected yet." Jack nodded. "What are your orders?" Gary asked. Jack thought for a moment and the orders just came fluently to his mouth. "Pack up your EVA suits, they're on your backs till we can find somewhere to stash them." He began to pack his up swiftly, not wanting some super solider to stroll past and depressurize them before they even got going. "Once we're out I want standard stealth manoeuvres. McKnight take a 6 man team and find the engineering section. If you can I want you to play a little havoc with their power systems. If you can get the lights out I'll be a bonus, we'll be able to move more freely in the dark. Take Oriana with you. Keep her, alive." "Aye Sir." "Lieutenant Bronson, take a small team and head down to their defensive/offensive systems. If we have to get out of here in a rush I don't want them shooting at us, their weapons have to be disabled. I don't want any questions about it." He turned to Petty Officer Williams. "You and everyone else is with me. We're going to head up to station command and see what we can get ourselves into. I want to know what this place is and why the bastards blew us up without so much as a question." he slapped the door open and moved out with Williams and the ODA members still with him. "Radio Silence unless absolutely important. Keep the channels scrambled and alternating." Jack moved out slowly but swiftly, Williams behind him. The place seemed remarkably quiet for a research facility, he assumed it would be packed full of scientists moving everywhere, but then Intel could be wrong and it might not even be a research facility. The Chimera hoped that it would be, they hoped they could get some technology of value he guessed. Sure Officially Starfleet didn't do that sort of thing, but unofficially he was pretty sure they did. That was one of the reasons for the SSS's conception he assumed, get things done that Starfleet couldn't. Send in the clowns. Regardless he moved further ahead until he felt Williams grab his shoulder this time. Turning Garry signalled that there were 2 life signs coming from an eastern direction via an adjacent corridor. He then pointed to what the tricorder told them was an empty room off to the side. Gary and Jack moved inside and hugged either side of the door in case whoever was coming down that corridor decided to come in here. He heard heavy footsteps outside approaching. Thud Thud Thud...they seemed to stop outside the door, and Jack began to wonder if they knew they were in here...after what was one of the longest seconds of his life, the footsteps carried on and Jack let out a sigh of relief. === Marine Captain Walsh ODA Commander USS Chimera, SSF
