(OOC - Hello everyone! - Sorry that this is so short, I was trying to get an entrance for my character logged) == /\ Kzenti Research Facility /\ ===== Cortez followed the rest of the team inside the room and quickly slipped into the darkness. Once there, he took up a position on the far side of the room where he would still have a good view of the entrance. Wiping the sweat from his brow he watched as Captain Walsh and Gary stood over what looked like a dead Romulan in the middle of the room. "So thats where the smells coming from", he said to himself, then crouched down on one knee. The sound of the footsteps started getting louder and both Walsh and Gary ran over to cover the door. A few seconds later the door slid opened and revealed a huge cyborg. Before anyone had time to react, the Kzenti had already ran inside the room and grabbed Corporal Hawkins who gasped for air as the cyborg held him nearly 3 feet in the air by the neck. The entire team opened fire on the cyborg which seemed to do little damage. "Go for the head", someone yelled and Cortez quickly moved to get a clear shot. But before he could fire, Captain Walsh had already jabbed a huge knife into the back of the Kzenti Warriors skull. Cortez watched as the cyborg dropped the lifeless body of Hawkins to the ground and then collapse. He then immediately ran to the door and watched down the corridor to make sure no more Kzenti were coming. He listened as Captain Walsh ordered everyone into the ventilation duct and kept watch over the entrance while everyone climbed in.
