=/\= End of briefing meeting =/\= Athena hoped to get out of the room quickly and isolate the feeling she sensed from the new helmsmen and the Palmer woman. However, both of them beat her to the door and she now stood in the hallway just outside the door. {Did I imagine that or did they seem chummy just for a moment there?} Several thoughts intruded on the ones she was already having. {Wonder if any one besides maybe the general figured out what was going on. Maybe just a shared moment between new crewmates. I'll have to make it up to Sean for taking the blame for the grape; without him knowing of course. HHHmmm.... Harvek...} The voice of the general broke into her thoughts, "I'd like to have a word with you later, Counselor." Athena nodded her head and barely noted the time the General had given her for their meeting. {Damn!} She watched as the general walked to the bridge and dismissed the curious look that a couple others gave the two of them. Athena sighed and started walking toward the lift taking her thoughts with her. {Harvek.... to good natured about the accident. New crewmates that has to be it.} =/\= A Little While Later =/\= Athena stood in the holodeck looking around at the gridded walls. Most might think this what a bit unusual but upon occasion Athena found it very relaxing. She wasn't scheduled to be there but she wasn't using any resources either; she reasoned as she continued to stand there a few moments longer. Finally she sat down with her legs crossed and closed her eyes. She wasn't looking forward to her upcoming meeting with the general and decided to try and get her jittering nerves to calm a bit. {What's the worst he could do?} she asked herself. {He usually has a good sense of humor} she thought as her muscles began to relax in the quite dark atmosphere. {Did he seem a little tense} she questioned herself? Shaking her head she concentrated on relaxing. Athena was feeling very relaxed when she thought he was hearing a soft clicking sound. Athena opened one eye and then the other popped open as she registered the lack of the usual grid work. The clicking noises were getting louder and Athena stood up quickly and head for where she remembered the door was. However, she only took two steps before a wall loomed in front of her. She didn't want to interrupt who ever was using the program. She hoped she kept her sense of direction as she began to follow the darkened hallway hoping to reach the spot where the door was supposed to be. As Athena turned the corner The clicking noises were so loud that she covered her ears for a moment to adjust to the noise. As she turned another corner she came face to face with a rather large insect. At her soft gasped the creature turned and looked at her and then quickly moved toward her. Athena screamed and then the insect was gone and the grid was back. Athena slide down the wall and sat there a couple of moments before deciding to get out of there in case there was a repeat performance. She walked out of the holodeck only to see Petty Officer Williams half way down the corridor.
